Holiday Inn/Amish Inn Splash Universe Water park Review

I havent been there yet but ive called for the last 3 days trying to reserve a suite or just a room and tried on the website and still no help finally spoke to someone and all rooms are sold out my family will be there this weekend and my children and i cant even get a room then she tells me its 31.99 for all day bands onbtop of trying to find a hotel now.

My family and I went to Splash universe for a little getaway and had a really good time. The price was great for all that was included. Our room was pretty nice except there was a cutout at the top where the two sleeping areas are separated and my kids kept looking over it. Also the arcade had so many games that were out of order otherwise would have given them 5 stars.

My daughter had a wonderful time. She loved the bunk beds in the room. Front desk I originally booked the room with messed something up but the staff that was there when I checked in completely made up for it. Would definitely go again. Was fun for adults as well

The water park was fine myself and a few other people fell they need to put more of the grip tape down. Only issue we had was with the TreeHouse pub the wait staff played around more then helping there customers we had to ask several times for napkins and silver the food was so/so probably won't eat there again and when it came time to pay they added there tip into the bill and still demanded that we leave another tip so we will not be eating there again but will return to the water park

Horrible place, web sites lists life vest for children included, but it doesn't specify first come first serve. Had a skiball ge right behind our room. Was like trying to sleep in a bowling alley. Quiet time is not informed. Advertising state an arcade. There is not one. Children were so disappointed . Restaurant had horrible service, manager was rude and had no customer service skills. The place was empty, we were the first table. Everyone table that was sat after us recieved food before us. Waiting a half hour for an app. And an hour for food was ridiculous. Nothing for children 6 and under really. Waste of time and money.

I went with my work as part of a field trip (I work for a day camp) and the kids had a blast. The water park area was smaller than I expected and the locker rooms were slightly gross, but kids don't care about that.

Nice water park. Loved the fact that the hot tub is 18 and older only. Waterpark playscapes were good for all kids with adequate separation for the little ones from the bigger kids. 2 larger sized water slides and 3 or 4 smaller ones attached to the playscape area. Adequate number of lifeguards on duty. Arcade had several broken down machines and the selections of games were poor. Tickets for prizes were thru the roof outrageous in comparison to what the machines told you how much you've won. ($50 game card "won" my 6 year old a 100 ticket balsawood airplane that you can buy for under a buck at stores) and the breakfast buffet was pretty gross taste wise. I'd have given this a 5 star rating if the games and grub were better and I'd have given this place a 3 star rating if the staff weren't as helpful and as friendly as they were.

Water park was great. I wish the line at the restaurant was not a long. Room was super clean and comfortable.

The facilities themselves were decent enough. However, it seems as though the lack of revenue during the off season is passed on to the customers by driving quests to nickle and dime they way into the full experience. In short, with a little driving one can experience a much better service for comparable prices

Very nice and clean. Plenty of room for changing. Water was warm for being middle of winter.

Perfect stay. Wish is was open later in the day and the 4 pm check in is kind of late..
