Very nice place to take the family! Many lifeguards on duty. Not sure when's a better time to go...always busy yet still pleasurable. Convenient towel service. Nice size lockers-though a little pricey...only bring what's needed. Seems to be very clean. Convenient showers and bathrooms. Sitting areas around the waterside. Eating area off to the side. Water is a very pleasant temperature...though the room may not be. Game area somewhat small and crowded...but seems to be functional. Kind of costly, yet fun! Available for birthday parties. They also have face painting

Perfect for a little family getaway. Although this place isn't perfect the staff is very nice and the lifeguards are very attentive and we felt safe. Yes it's worth it. Yes you should go.

Nice facility, but truly lacking organization. Most staff members were knowledgeable, but several stood out as immature. Not surprising as most were very young. Pool area was ok but geared more towards the younger kids( 10 under). Breakfast buffet left much to be desired. Rooms super clean. Too many other waterparks for me to stay here again. Glad I tried this one, hadn't found very many online reviews.

Kids had a great time in the waterpark. Rooms were pretty basic nothing special.

It is a blast although loud. To be expected however the room walls are too thin I could hear everything all around me

Great weekend getaway but the indoor water park could use an expansion

Do not stay here my experience was horrible. I booked a room for my daughter bday however upon arrival I was told there was no power and I couldn't get my money refunded only a return pass..... After emailing the director jerimah Whitman he took 3days to respond and then said it's not his fault if I like I can call dte regarding the outage and he the director himself could only give a return pass as if I would ever return with the poor customer service ... So not only did I not have my party but I'm being forced to pay for a room and water park facility that wasn't even in safe living conditions..... I have never heard of not refunding your customers when you can't even use the product that is being offered.....

I have been to many pools and parks and Splash Universe blows them all out of the water, pun intended. Great service, very attentive lifeguards. Relaxing atmosphere. Well worth the price. Next time, I'm going to book a room. And the amenities around the hotel and pool are great. Great job!

Nice hotel room but the water park was so so but the kids had fun

Worse place ever for a birthday party food wrong and not on time place does not good booking skills allows to get over packed not enough lockers or space and has locker rental to close to pool took over 3 and a half weeks for someone to respond to calls and emails about having my own cake due to child allergies at which i must say they have no care or feelings about someonw with food allergies they are not well mannered never go there again

The kid enjoyed themselves and so did I and my fiancee.

Love this water park in our small community! Love their events for families! They have an outdoor splash pad that is small. Wish there were more out there like a pool or hot tub maybe some chairs to lay out in the sun. After an hour of swimming, you are pretty much done. They have had issues with chlorine content in the air. They do have the arcade and breakout rooms are fun! Overall very family friendly! Being a local to the area we have been there quite a bit and would still visit again!

Great place for the family, but it will most likely be extremly busy.

When I got there there was a long long line to check in.. I had already requested early check in which they didn't honor . They said we will text u when room is available ( check inTime is 3pm) You can change in the water park locker rooms. Go to the water park and it is packed like a can of sardines , go to Locke room .. it was NASTY, GROSS .. dirty diapers on floor smelled like A...., water or pee al over the floor .. we make our way to the water park and packed and small ,, didn't have anywhere to sit or had to stand

I was a touch leery after reading the other reviews and full disclosure I didn't stay at the hotel so i can't speak towards that part but... This is an amazing place for children. Teens maybe if they're not being broody. Adults? Well it's not for you or about you. This is for and about your children. You're welcome to take part in a lot of it but it's not going to dazzle your jaded adult senses. Bring your children while they're little. Go with them through the slides and play areas until they're comfortable then just watch as they have an amazing time and be happy with them and for them. It's loud. It's wet. It's got kids themed dining. They'll have a blast.

Only complaint I have is the lack of a real changing area for people using a day pass (unless i missed it). We changed in a shower stall but it wasn't hard to manage so still 5 stars. If you're bringing a mess of kids that need help changing you might want a hotel room, even for the day visit, to change in.

The slides were my favorite! The lifeguards were really nice, and they definitely prepared for a tight crowd in the lazy river. It was awesome!!!

I saw a Demond (or ghost) and then got stuck in a slide :)

We were in town for a wedding with no small children and our room was connected to a large family's room with a bunch of screaming children. We went to the desk to be moved and nothing was done. No discount. No nothing. This hotel was supposed To be accommodating the wedding which started at 4 and check in was 4. They didn't really accommodate. I wouldn't stay again.

We took our granddaughter there for a short vacation and she loved it. Had a hard time getting her out of the waterpark because she was having such a great time.

indoor fun for all the little kids my 3 year old loves it and just laying around in the lazy river is great

Not the best Michigan indoor water park as far as attractions go. There are only 2 "big" slides, but a great zero entry pool. Great for younger kids. The pool closed down 3 times while we were there due to "contamination" issues. Obviously this is out of there hands and the staff handled it quickly and discreetly. However, the different departments do not seem to be able to tell you anything about the other. For instance if you ask the snack shack about the sit down restaurant they do not know how it operates. It is priced right for a quick overnight staycation.

Waterpark was fun. Kids had a blast. Stayed at the Best western Dundee.....VERY COOL SUITE!!! No complaints. Kids were not supervised at times and were in the hot tub....but it was overall AMAZING.

Never have i ever been turned away on a Sunday. Must be new rules buying passes online.

I loved how nice the staff was... The room was clean and well stocked if I had to complain it would be the hot breakfast buffet was extreamly limited sausage links biscuits eggs and tater tots. Other than that I would have given 5 stars

For older kids not very fun, but a blast for the younger kids.

My 3 year old son had an absolute blast. He is 36 inches tall and could go on every single ride. Other than the water being pretty cold, we still had a blast.

Staff were helpful. Water was warm and there were plenty of lifeguards. It is warm inside so be prepared for that. The website says 84 degrees. It can get a little crowded but it wasn't ever an issue. Kids loved all the water slides and the lazy river was a huge hit.

I had a blast at this place! My family had a great time having fun at this waterpark. We also enjoyed the restaurant and arcade as well. I'll definitely being going back!

Small water park. Very crowded. Locker situation is annoying to deal with. Changing rooms aren t good for changing into dry clothing because the floor is very wet.

A bit pricey but the kids loved it. Will not be visiting again due to the price.

Under staffed, staff was all teenager's. Was hard to get help when needed. Food wasnt to overall

Overpriced Water park with a lacking in the amenities department. Kids always like it though. Needs a better TV Selection. Snack bar prices are ridiculous.

It saddens me to see that with each bad experience the " owner" comments only defend poor service with excuses rather then attempting to rectify the problem. They know that the water is cold, guests have been complaining for years, they know the ventilation is poor, they have had problems in the past, they know there aren't enough linens to have rooms completed by check in times. Its fine to defend staff when they are doing their best with the hand they have been dealt but its another thing when you claim zero accountability for the problems you have... Prehaps invest some of your profits to make the guest experience what it should be, they certainly pay enough for their visits.

They do not answer their phones. Just want to know if we need to bring towels for the park if we are have a room

Check in was great as well as all of the folks at the front desk.They were very busy but polite and attentive. From there things went downhill.The room was passable, but I have no idea why they call it a suite. It was a standard size room with a wall and 2 sets of bunk beds crammed in it.
On to the park, there were lots of life guards On duty but most seemed more interested in whether you were wearing a wrist band or not. It seems about 30% of the non swimming adults were not. , yet they were walking around the inside of the water park just the same.I was one of them, but no one said anything to me specifically, I suppose because some people find me intimidating. Still every life guard in the parks eyes that met mine went immediately after to my wrists but still they said nothing. It seems to me they should have one person posted at the door(s) as a band checker, and allow the life guards to concentrate on their jobs.
The park itself is pretty good if a bit small. Its enough to keep the kiddos happy for a day. Two at the very most. After the kids get bored its next door to the worlds most expensive video arcade.

I went in with 4 kids and they went through $30 worth of the "cash cards" they , make you buy in about 5 minutes. Thats $90 per kid, per hour folks. A lot of the games also produce tickets to further perpetuate the scam. Air hockey was $2
After a good video corn-holing, you head over to the pub and grub, tree house for some of the worst service, and restaurant cleanliness you've ever seen. The food is decent, overpriced, and the staff acts like they haven't had a break since a Roosevelt was in office. One look at the floor, or an open table brings nightmarish visions of what the kitchen looks like.
Then it's back to the "suite" to listen to parents telling their kids to be quiet as the walk up and down the hallway all night. Or the adults coming through drunk.
Overall, I would mot recommend this place to anyone. There's really no need for the waterpark to have a hotel attached to it and vice versa. The hotel theme seems to be a hunting lodge. Which makes some sense considering it's proximity to cabelas. The water park seems to be an expensive afterthought.

Conflicted about this place...we have stayed here before, but it was so crowded and noisy we opted to just come and swim since our kids love it...they love it for the same reasons we hate it..noisy, crowded, kids running everywhere and everything...EVERYTHING is wet! Forget having a dry area to change back into, because that is out of the question (unless you're staying there, and if that's the case then sleep will be your big issue.) Surfaces are all dangerously slippery and the place just isn't equipped to handle that many kids. Waaay too much chem in the water to keep up with all the kids and the price of admission is a joke..very pricey. I will add that the lifeguards are very active. They aren't just sitting there lazily looking at smartphones with whistles in their mouths...they are actively patrolling and very observant which is nice because the place is sheer chaos, but they are truly doing the best job they can and it shows. All in all, your kids are probably going to have a great time and talk about how much fun it was forever...you (the parent/guardian) are going to want to lobotomize yourself after 5 minutes, but it's for the kids, so 3 1/2 stars!

So much fun! Made friends with staff! Everything is really nice. I got a room with bunk beds, the only thing I can say badly is that the blankets on the bunk beds feel like towels and are really uncomfortable but other than that its really cool.

As a first timer at the Splash park, it was a fun experience for my 2 and 6 year old but I did noticed a few pointers that needed improvement and that will make people feel like not coming back. For example, lack of cleaning specially bathrooms (bathrooms need to be upgraded as well). Most of the people that worked there were frienly but with the exception of the lady in charge of the gift shop and registration at the park area, I think just a few lessons about customer service will do the work her. The toodler area needs upgrades, more things that they can play with. Overall a nice experience! hotel was great but the water park's price I don't think is very competitive camparing to other similar businesses. But I do thank the staff for the hospitality

They offered towels but were "out" of towels by 2pm. The lazy river was nice but they only had 10, yes 10 innertubes for the whole ride. Our kids had to wait till after 7pm before they got a chance to use one. I was very disappointed for the amount of money we spent!!

The hot tub wasn't working one of the slides weren't working and the water was cold been down for a week

The water park was packed which I expect on a Friday nite but concession stand was about out of everything at 6 pm....dance party afterwards for girl scouts was great.

Went there for my sons birthday and he had a blast there water could be a bit warmer but other then that we had fun

This place is good for kids probably 7 and under. I was disappointed with the changing area. Also, the floors near the baby pool next to the tree house is very slippery. Numerous kids wiped out while I was there.

The facility was nice. The rooms and the waterpark were fairly clean. The service was terrible. I have been to several similar places, and this was definitely the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel or park. The staff were not rude, they were simply apathetic. The staff at both the front desk and the restaurant made many mistakes and made my family and me feel like we were not welcome. We waited an excessively long time for almost everything. Normally I would complain to management, but short of getting a full cash refund, there is nothing that would change my opinion of this place. I wouldn't go back if I were given a free stay for a week.

Dirty, over crowded, understaffed, missing TV in our room, toilet wouldn't flush, do not waste your money here.

Water park was down right disgusting! Dirty towels and trash everywhere! The changing rooms were the worst, abandoned towels socks underwear and DIAPERS piled knee high. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!

Bathrooms and locker rooms need to be cleaned every hour

The park was super busy but still a blast for the kids. Nobody puked on the water slide (this time) and the food was quick and decent. The life guards are very attentive, keeping all the kids safe.

Room was clean and spacious. Bed was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was ok, the children were satisfied, just a bit costly. Waterpark was fun because it is a waterpark afterall. It was a bit crowded and the chlorine is so strong it burns your eyes just being in there. Lifegaurds were attentive and I felt my children were safe. Bathrooms in the waterpark were disgusting though. Food in the waterpark was kid friendly with good variety from their standpoint. No healthy options. Overall, I would visit again.

Water temp is WAY too cold. All the children in the park were shivering and had purple lips. The manager Rich was an extreme know-it-all (I am being kind) who didn't care in the least that everyone in the park was freezing. I wouldn't recommend this park to anyone!

We had a Family party there, in February. It was fantastic. I am seriously considering a repeat for next year. Definitely worth the price, especially on a Sunday.

Not terrible, but pretty crowded. Restrooms and changing areas smell heavy of Urine, which is disgusting.

Worse customer service reps. Constantly given wrong information. showed up 3hrs early and couldn't check in was Not informed at all about the waterpark being closed. Not owning up to what's promised. When explaining what you were told they cut you off and over talk you. Never will we be back!!!

We are going on Friday for a girls scouts trip, and after reading the reviews I might call the trip off, so we can go to Kalahari instead. AND IM 10 YEARS OLD. I tell you if its good or bad when we come back.

I bought this as a gift for my son and his family. They had a wonderful time at Splash Universe! I bought them passes again for this Christmas.

Our favorite place to spend family days park is usually clean but snack shack is often out of beverages or menu items.

Seeing as I got my "day passes" half off it was ok. The phone rep didn't say they opened at 4 on Friday so we got there before they opened. Which I don't see how that's a full day pass. Not worth spending the night, games way over priced, and the showers didn't work. But the kids had fun.

Great place for bringing the family for a staycation

This place is legit being ran by about 5 teenagers in the whole building, with the exception of life guards. Every. Single. Thing is a wait. Wait 45 mins to check in because one person is checking people in. Wait 30 minutes in line to order a pizza because ONE teen is taking orders and an hour to get the pizza. Wait 45 mins to get a drink at the bar because ONE teenager is running the whole tree pub restaurant. The WiFi is broke in arcade so had to rewait where everyone is checking in for an hour to get money loaded on a card. Then after spending $150 in the arcade we were unable to get our tickets off the card because we would have had to wait another hour in line and the teen in the arcade refused to help. We did more waiting than we did enjoying ourself because they refuse to staff accordingly. It is very dysfunctional and just not worth the money.

That me and my son have had would really recommend it to any family or group that wants to go there they take really good care of you and the food is excellent

I remember when I was younger I went & I absolutely loved it!!

I have not been here in over a year because they do not offer a family hot tub, it's adults only. I go to indoor water parks for my family not myself. Their water park is kind of small. The rooms usually smell like the water park. There is not a good variety of food but thankfully there are nearby restaurants. The bunk bed rooms are cool but the price is not worth it. They should remodel, expand, and lower their prices before hand.

LOVE THIS WATERPARK. It s the perfect size for kids 1 - 15 years old in my opinion!

Water park was much smaller than expected given the size of the hotel. The changing rooms are just bathrooms which is a terrible setup. Enough room for 3 people to change on the shower side and 3 on the bathroom side. The pool itself was crowded and the water was cold. Not sure I would visit again unless it was not peak times. Not worth it for a special trip.

Went there for spring break with cousins and family it really wasn't that bad although not that much to do my little sisters and cousins got home light headed water wasn't fine over all we got 2 free passes from these people that didn't like the place and left so I rate this place a 2.
