U must eat here the food is so so good u want regreat it I love this place u must try and very nice people and order is fast good hot and good taste

We had takeout. I did not expect shredded beef for a beef brisket dinner plate. Could not really tell it was beef brisket at all. It tasted terrible. I thought it would be at least nice slices since it was a dinner plate not a sandwich. When I called and asked about the different potatoes before hand, I was told the red potatoes are cooked with onions and the oven browns were like tater tots. Well the red potatoes had no onions and the potato browns are small diced potatoes deep fried no way near tater tots. The 1/2 slab of rib dinner was more like a 1/4 slab no way 1/2 slab. And the cole slaw tasted like it was from a container not homemade. For a BBQ place you would think it would be homemade cole slaw. Also you would think the corn bread biscuit would be homemade not a package wrapped one from somewhere else. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Super great food! Nothing to dislike here. Super fast service and super clean establishment!

Delicious barbeque pork of any type. The Ribs, pork chops, and pulled pork are all very good. The Hossa is my favorite; it's a grilled cheese with pulled pork and bacon. There service is also very quick and the prices are fair. You order before you sit down and the food arrives with ten minutes max for most anything.

5 stars. Why? Best BBQ, ribs, pork chops, etc on the Southside. Can't beat this place.

If the only thing great about this place is that all their portions are big then that's not enough for me to go back. Ordered the pork tenderloin dinner and its just a big ol DRY tenderloin on 2 slices of Dry bread along with some DRY potato rounds! No bbq sauce, no ketchup, no nothing. Idk even know what to put on it so I don't have to wash down every bite with a drink. 3 stars cuz they were very polite and the service was prompt.

Pork chop, pork chop, pork chop. If this is your first time here, you're probably going for the pork chop if not, you should. Great food, very fast service. The food hits the table before you even get there. The ribeye steak is also a great choice.

You simply haven't had good food until you try Hog Wild. There is absolutely no other place like it in existence. I don't think you could go wrong on any order regardless of how choosy or picky your appetite or palette. Before you visit another $100 steakhouse give this place a try and give your wallet a break.

Wow! First time in this area - awesome barbecue that I didn't expect! Only downside... its cash only. Turns a $10 meal into a $14 meal with the surcharge at their ATM

Went there with my brother for lunch. We ordered the rib tips...the sauce was awful and the tips were cold. We both took 2 tips each and left the rest. Waste of $27. The best thing about this place is the free divorce pics sign outside. Thumbs way down

Food is good but you have to remember to bring cash because they don't except credit cards.

Celebrated my mother in law's birthday there last week and it was great. The staff were attentive

Fabulous place. They give you plenty of food and fast service. The walleye on Friday's is one of my favorites.

I found out tonight they have a Hog Combo. Mmmmm delicious ... Pork Chop, 1/2 slab Ribs plus. Mmmmm. When u r undecided... Get the combo. :) - courteous, clean, Highly recommend.

Churn em and burn em is the undeniable vibe I get here. Average BBQ at best.

Love this place,but today my gigantic pork chop was less than warm! Not a good idea to sacrifice quality for super fast service! Disappointed,but I'll be back!!

This place has the best ribs and pork chops I've ever tasted. The service is super fast. The food usually gets to the table before you do, and all the staff is very polite.

I have absolutely no problem with any food, all great!! My issue here is they RUN and really RUSH you out. I've been chewing food with 1/2 plateful and they are asking if they can take my plate. I couldn't answer, my mouth was full. I think friendliness can be worked on more. I still go though.

Have had dinner and lunch from this place numerous times. Honestly every time it has been someone else s idea. Nothing special about anything. All the food is bland. This place is always very busy. What I have tried is the cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, pork chop, pot roast, steak sandwich, bbq pulled pork sandwich, and the chicken tenders. All my experiences have been nearly identical very bland no seasoning, the fries and oven browns are just bad always soggy and flavorless. The worst item on the menu that I ve had would be the pork chop just big dry and over cooked. I would say the best thing about this place is the bbq sauce. Which they use to give sweet baby rays packages. Now they have they re own house brand pig logo on a small container might just be relabeled sweet baby ray sauce I don t know. Last thing to mention would be the price it s expensive for what your getting, I will gladly pay 20, 30, 40, 50 dollars on a meal but please at least season my food.

Amazing food, extremely fast service, food was at table before my group of 6 sat down. *Cash only* Staff was never rude and always courteous to us and other customers around us. The news of "The owner's Son" is false as it was another group of customers who were also asked to leave.

Went there today on our way to see the Chicago Fire. Great place for BBQ! One of the better places for smoked meat. The pork chop was the best!

I loved my visit to the Original Hog Wild. One look at the sign outside and I knew I had to have that pork chop. I was not disappointed.
That is the greatest pork chop known to mankind. I'm glad I had the honor to know how good a pork chop can be.

Had Pork Chop dinner it was great, can t wait to go back.

Amazing food, awesome people and great prices! Even though they're known for their pork (which is of course delicious), their chicken is good, as well as even their beef. Their corned beef sandwich melts in your mouth! Highly recommend if you're in the area. Just try to go during non-busy times, especially on the weekends! And bring cash or be prepared to get it out of their ATM

Not used to ordering the food before you sit down. The food is good, but cash only.

Excellent grilled and barbeque food. Service so far that it beats you to the table. What's not to love?

My husband and I went to Hog Wild last night for the meatloaf dinner. The meatloaf was dry and tasteless. We ate and boxed up our left overs. We sat there for a minute talking and the bus boy comes over and says, "We need the table, you will have to leave". What??? I turn around and there is no line of people waiting to be seated and there are two tables empty behind us. It was later in the evening and they were slow, there was no rush. I guess that they thought we spent a few minutes to long there. I thought that was pretty rude. They didn't seem to have a problem when they took our thirty bucks for the meal, though. We have been to Hog Wild several times before this visit but, we won't be going back after being treated like this. Our money is good anywhere. This proves that it is all about the money and not customer satisfaction. That is sad.
