I had to write a review. Casual, family friendly, AUTHENTIC Chinese food, engaging owner and staff. Very mom and pop feel. Portions are large. 1 dinner meal could be shared between 2 adults easy.

Visited town last month and this place came highly recommended. It was great! Portion sizes are very large so be careful on over ordering. Not a bad problem to have though. The food was so delicious! Came back to town and I told my husband this place is a must try so excited to order again.
Ho Ho Gourmet is my favorite Chinese food place in Salt Lake city....maybe even the world. The food is always fresh and delicious!
Ho ho restaurant is a waste of money and place to eat. Their food is over cook and bad dont order clam is worse of the worse. go somewhere ,
Chinese food and the atmosphere at this location is super good. Visited on a Thursday. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The prices are good for what you get.
Been here twice in 4 years -- I am not a local but from the southern states.
Compared to Vancouver, Houston, and the rest of the US, this place is pretty solid. The pei-pa-to-fu is solid. The egg plant is good. The he-fun (guan-chow-niao-haw) is similarly solid. I am a Cantonese guy who appreciates HK-style food. Good stuff for Utah. Congrats for getting it this far, and enjoy.
My family and I have been coming to Ho Ho for over 10 years we stopped coming when they had issues with the health department a few years ago. We recently ordered via to go due to Covid-19. They aren t allowing guests to eat inside which is great! Ordering through the phone before hand was super convenient, they will give you an accurate estimate of how long it will take for pickup. Once you arrive they have a table outside and take payment then give you the food. Last Sunday we were pleasantly surprised at how they still do an outstanding job with their dishes .
Been going here for years.. The whole Family loves it.. Great food.. Great service.. if you haven't tried it. Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed
The staff was very kind and the food portion was really huge. The food overall were very good I would definitely go back for more! However, on the menu it said spicy but it was not spicy at all so the taste has been modified for Americans I guess. But there are sriracha on the table so you can adjust the spicy level as you want.
