Here is my honest review.. First the Good.

Here is my honest review.. First the Good.

1. The location on the Thames can only be good.
2. The reception area serves coffee and tea.. Plus AMAZING cakes.

4. Was amazing viewing the Thames , the shard and the London eye from the ship.
5. The Bar and staff were very friendly, attentive and professional.

The bad...

1. There were too many guests and nobody could dance properly as it was too close!
2. As a result it was very, very, very hot and humid inside.
3. Could not dance for fear of bumping into someone
4. For us travelling from bucks costs too much
5. No human voice to monitor the theme .... Just force fed music.

The UGLY.. ( Not the fault of the venue organisers BTW )

Whereas most Ladies were lovely, 90% of men I saw were 0ver weight, old, unattractive, weird or aggressive.... Too many `F` words being used for my liking too!

As a result we will not be returning any time soon...

Go Here with few friends!, its definitely catered for the fellow after officers ;) Good view of the surrounding area including the Shard across the river. Its a perfect place for a sun downer in London summer. The place badly in need of an interior decorator. Its almost borderline depressing. Surprisingly though bar staff is very attentive despite the lack of a wine menu. They do accept major credit cards for being on the river. :) This is good cheap alternative to all the fancy places on the Thames. Its a big boat ;) so it may sway a little when the Thames is at its worst.. but its worth it.

This is one of the best places to really enjoy the Thames, probably because it's actually in the river. I went here after work on a sunny day and the view along the Victoria Embankment, plus the Southbank and London Eye, is fantastic. I wasn't thrilled with the house wine - but that's more personal preference. Be warned though, if you get seasick, it gets quite a bit rocky when the Thames Clipper goes past.

I came to HMS President for a networking drinks event. Not your standard venue, but great location on a docked boat by the water. The boat has a dance floor on the bottom and can hold quite a large party. The top deck at night has great views of the Thames and looking out to the OXO building and London Eye.
