Historic Columbia is a non-profit organization that has been dedicated to preserving the historic and cultural heritage of Columbia and Richland County for over 50 years. The organization was founded in 1961 by a group of concerned citizens who were alarmed by the rapid destruction of historic buildings in downtown Columbia.
