I walked in, thinking it was going to be a depressing atmosphere due to the sickness they treat. I was blown away by the environment that they have set up. They have game systems and a lot of different things to keep the kids entertained. One of the staff members stopped what he was doing and assisted a few kids with syncing the Wii system after they asked him.The walls were brightly colored and decorated with various art. Its easy to forget that you are in a hospital. My son wanted to stay longer and explore. You can tell that the staff are passionate about what they do and who they are there for. Dr. Dreyer took her time and listened to my son and I and answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns. She had my son laughing the entire time we were in the exam room. She had a grandmotherly aura about her. If the unfortunate illness arises, this is a fortunate place to be. I truly could not have asked for better care for my son.
