I gave up on the website, and then had a long wait on the phone (not surprising if the website is tough to navigate).

Quick and efficient once the bag was filled (hipposkip). Driver friendly and happy to help. Took photos of bag before lifting it away and of drive after extraction. From booking online to uplift was 48hrs. I would have no problems using them again. Good service if you don't want to hire a skip although price is similar for the big bag.

Brilliant, efficient - our front of the house area is very small - no worries on the collection. Was collected really early in the morning which was a good idea as we are in a narrow terrace. Well done guys.

I ordered the middle size bag arrived on the second day and waited just over a week for collection, but the benifit of these over a skip is you can keep the bag indoors until your ready to fill it they give you a long grace with it I think 6 months, put the bag out where its good for yourself and the lorries crane, there is no rusty marks or scratches like those left by some skips. Overall completely pleased and will use again.

Used them as tips were closed. Nothing on website or with bag once delivered to say wouldn t collect in normal timescale. Only once filled and outside house we re we told could be weeks for collection as tops are closed!!!!
To their credit arranged pick up only 3 days late but then refused to take it as there was a mattress included and there is an additional charge. Nothing on website or ad material says that. Didn t knock door so we could arrange payment there and then just left the skip!!!
Very expensive method of having a load of rubbish left outside your house for an unknown period of time. I ll never use them again I recommend no one else does. Gave 1 star only because no stars was not an option. Appalling customer service even taking into account the current circumstances.

Used to be good, but now they won't lift a bag over anything higher than a 6ft fence. This was never a problem, but apparently their lorries won't do it anymore. The lorries in the picture will do this easily and I have had plenty of deliveries over the fence before.

They turn up at 7.30 in the morning to clear out a basement flat throwing heavy items into the back of a lorry repeatedly, does this need to happen before 8am? No

Hippo bag had an offer on their website and the offer was "bag and collection" of their hipposkip bag and midi bag for the price of hipposkip bag.

As I had the second bag, even though the skip bag had space to put the rubbish in, I used the second bag as it was part of the offer.







Please be aware of their fradulent practices. You have been warned.

The promised overnight delivery of the bag to my house actually took 6 days!
It is now 8 days since I requested collection of the bag and despite numerous phone calls and emails to Hippo I am still waiting for collection and have received no information from them (other than we will email you the night before we pick it up )
Have to say that this is VERY poor service.

I'm a handy man and normally on big jobs I hire a skip.Thought I would try Hippo for the first time, and I must say I am extremely pleased with their service and would definitely recommend and use them again.
