This is my best place for coffee.service is good and comfortable place.
Central location, upstairs, on the first floor, big hall, wooden furnitures, great Wi-Fi connection, friendly service - staff, wide selection of coffee and snacks, reasonable price, great place for refreshing. .. On the contrary - experience showed-toilets running out of paper, a queue to wc, wrong coffee delivery, no welcoming staff at the entrance. .. Overall.. This place was one of my favorite place for the cup of coffee with my dearest and nearest one, but these days Java is slightly changed. I think they are being more commercial rather than staying in their own values. Same old menu no any changes, i give them suggestion to add some more items for the food.
For its aroma, ambience, awesome coffee, awesome sandwich and salads, fast wifi (honest confession: slow during max number usage) and the most lively and heart warming staffs - they are the core engine to make you feel so much at your own pace and place!
The classic Thamel coffee house! Great environment with good coffee and food. Nepali coffee roasted daily. Extensive breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu. They have community tables which are great to work at and meet new people.
If you're in Turmel, the coffee here is really cheap and delicious.
starbucks is a counterpart. the coffees and food are delicious. free wifi.
Good coffee chain (probably the best in Nepal), but this particular branch turned me away at 8pm, when their signs state 830pm, even after I pointed at my phone on google maps. It's a real shame, I walked 20mins to get a coffee, so -4 stars because I was really craving coffee.
Excellent coffee, nice large space with both couches and dining tables. Good place for groups or solo dining. I also ordered a panini which was average. The staff are nice and quick to serve.
I like their club-veg-sandwich and java organic salad is great.. they also serve good coffee with great delicious brownie...u should try it..

This place is often everyones destination to visit for a good coffee and snacks. The foods are very hiygenic and yummy.
Very positive vibe. Locals, foreigners, trekkers, hikers or just coffee drinkers meet here. Service can be a bit slow, but the place is quite big and busy. Bring a friend. Have coffee, drinks lunch and dinner. Located on the 1st floor, not always visible from the street.

Cafe is nice but couple of staff are not much professional and made easily mistakes without any response which is i don't like. These days they are very slow for the services and have to remind them for same order many times . The mgmt should think about it.
Great place in Thammel, Kathmandu. Nice coffee and bytes. One can spend an afternoon or evening with a book.

Plenty of space to work, relax, eat, catch up with friends or even watch sports. The staff is quick and helpful - really good food (the chicken burger was YUM) and really good coffee! It is Western prices, but worth it.
Overpriced! You can try any ordinary coffee shop and you don't find much difference in quality. Not recommended!

Probably the best and biggest Himalayan Java in KTM. Lots of space and seating. Mostly foreigners inside, hence the price for coffee. Staff is a bit obnoxious and indifferent (which is not that common in KTM in my experience). Coffee is overall decent, but not as good as in Australia. If you need a place to work or if you miss your home country, definitely a go-to.

The best, and will always be the best coffee place in Kathmandu. It may be a bit overcrowded but the coffee will make you forget about it, don t forget a slice of blueberry pie with your coffee.
