Amazing hotel environment with stunning Waterside Downtown location onto river view. Staff works hard, rooms are modern and plush, room service food is stellar. Only wished there were more tv channels, but artwork around was certain stunning. Paradise of a visit!

Beautiful hotel! Service was exceptional. Really happy that I chose Norfolk to celebrate my birthday. The availability of restaurants were all within walking distance so we didn't have to do too much driving.

Nice breakfast, a bit pricey. Nice view. Only thing I didn't really care for was how LOUD the music was. In the late afternoon/evening hours, totally expected. Not for breakfast though. I liked that they had music, but not at that level. Had to yell to have conversation with my daughter. Let me add, I was in town at a different hotel and asked where we good get breakfast. This question asked me about the restaurant only.
Beautiful hotel! Great location! When we arrived, our room wasn t ready, so they upgraded us to a riverfront room. The view was spectacular! Well-appointed decor and updated, comfy bed and modern bathroom. Park your car and walk around town to bars/restaurants. We ate at they re first floor restaurant, Saltine. The food was excellent! The only negative point was the water pressure which could have been higher. We d stay again!
So I stayed at the hotel 5/1/21 and Omg I was so impressed, it was like being at a art gallery.. the rooms were beautiful clean, neat and modern with an lovely ocean view..the staff was amazing and the food and drinks at Saltine was very upscale and tasty I really enjoyed my stay didn t really have to go anywhere, wish I could ve went to the winery that s also located inside the hotel and The Grain but they were booked with reservations. I haven t been to any hotel in Virginia better than this one
I recently stayed here with my sister for a girls weekend out and had a great time. This is a very beautiful hotel with beautiful art sculptures throughout. 3 elegant dining restaurants and all you need for a fantastic stay. My only cons are the wait time for the elevators & not having a microwave in the room to warm up any leftovers you may have from one of the establishments. Overall it is in a great area with plenty to do with food and shopping & fantastic views. Also, parking is in a parking garage to the right of the main entrance. Had a great stay!
First time at this hotel. We were planning a birthday celebration and I had guest coming in from out of town. I booked 2 rooms with a suite upgrade for one and late checkout on both. All requests were graciously accommodated. We had dinner reservations at Saltine and everything was delicious. So good in fact we went back for brunch the following day. The location, the hospitality, the convenience and the atmosphere made for a wonderful birthday event.
Got a room for the night for me and my daughter to have a fun girl night since my husband was out of town. The room was very nice and clean, beds super comfortable and a great view even of the city side if you stay on an upper level floor. Check in was smooth and the staff seemed courteous. Pool was warm and sparkling clean.
One thing to note, getting to the front desk from the garage is a bit confusing, take the elevator to level one then go into the hotel and either take the escalator or hotel elevator to level 2 and that s where the front desk is.
