Highland park umc Reviews

Grew up a Catholic but do not go to Catholic mass anymore. This particular Methodist congregation has it all. The venue is first class, with an excellent choir accompanied by outstanding music. However, the reason to worship at this church is the sermons offered by Paul Rasmussen. His presentation is spot on. No pie in the sky platitudes, just down to earth examples with which we can we can all translate to our everyday lives. We all have experienced sermons wherein we look at our watch and pray for it to end. With Paul, you focus on every word and when he finishes, you actually want more.

Its a lovely church. Huge , but little parking. There was 3 wedding there

It was a beautiful place in the highland park area! We couldn't hold a wedding ceremony this year due to Covid and we decided to have a little wedding photo for us to keep the memory.

I hope our decision doesn't make any trouble in church s regulation and just wanted to share these beautiful photos with people

I always feel welcome here. I would also say the staff overall really cares about people. Katie Payne and Leslie Watson really do a great job with handling the greeters for the Cornerstone Service. The porters maintain the restrooms and floors and tables well.

Beautiful facility. Directional signage for entrances could have been better. I attended a funeral there that was very well done.
