One of our favorite places for a family occasion. Twelve of us tonight, and the staff never missed a beat! Fun surroundings, good home style food, and a great place to walk around after a full belly!

Update 8/22/2020: Ordered takeout for 6 people (was not my decision). Every persons "platter" was different. Some people were missing things and portion sizes were all over the place. One hardly had any food in it at all! And another one had a mystery object in the dried out mashed potatoes. This place is a joke! Never ever go here!

Original Review: Way too expensive for boring average food. Unless you go total nuts for crab Imperial then I would go elsewhere. All the food they serve is super simple stuff you can easily make at home.

Calm, family friendly atmosphere in a beautiful barn. Amazingly yummy (as much as you want) food served by lovely staff. Quaint little country store out back with lots of antiques as well as another garage full of antiques. We will definitely go back!

Enjoyed our anniversary dinner. The stuffing and corn fritters were my favorite. The chicken was a little dry tough but tasty. I wasn't a fan of the roast beef. The mashed potatoes were too running for my tastes. The "imitation" crab imperial was good but super hot! Finished the meal with a delicious serving of blueberry cobbler topped with vanilla ice cream.

Absolutely awesome as usual. My wife and I's favorite place. Can't say enough about the wait staff and hostesses, always friendly and go above and beyond. They treat you like family. Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful setting, great looking place to eat. Wish the food was better. Not as we remembered it from 15 years ago. What passes as Crab Imperial tasted like there was only a teaspoon of crab in it. Ham was ham, what can you say? Turkey was good; best was the ice cream pie. I will say this: The locals seem to love this place as the restaurant was full.

My work concluded that we would have our Christmas party here, which I had never been to before. I thought this would be a small place that served a good meal, but was surprised that it could seat over 100 and that it was enjoyable home-cooking. They serve the food in courses, and it comes out family style. The atmosphere is warm, decorated with vintage/antique items, and makes you feel at ease. The servers are happy and make sure that you are well taken care of. This was an enjoyable surprise in the countryside.

The only food that was really good was the crab Imperial. The chicken was very dry. And the ribs were not really ribs they were up right and I couldn't even cut them with a knife invited 12 people there and everyone was very unhappy with the meal and they brought all the food at once it was very crowded on the tables so I was really disappointment. And I have been there numerous times . All 11 other people said they would not come back very upset spending that much money on my charge card when I've been out of work for two years and three months and before it was good .everybody said they won't come back I'm very disappointed.

MUST VISIT!!!!! I went here with a group of friends and was blown away by the atmosphere, service, and food! With home style, American country cooking and the log-cabin- cottage feel of home (and a bed and breakfast so this could really be your home for a weekend!) You will be impressed. We had the buffet experience where our lovely waitress brought us plate after plate of chicken, pork roast, baked apples, broccoli with blue cheese dressing, CRAB IMPERIAL, delicious rolls, and more, you will need to remind yourself to save room for dessert! The dessert menu is just as promising with cheese cake variations and pie. Bring the whole family, because the prices are reasonable too. It was 28 dollars per person for an ever lasting feast of country cooking. Will be back!

I was extremely disappointed in this place. I heard nothing but good things,so a group of ten of us went. The waitress was terrible. She was a little on the rude side. She actually told us that we needed to eat everything or she would get in trouble. She brought me the wrong wine yet never came to my end of the table so I could inform her. It is not a place I am willing to give a second chance. Live and learn.

We have been coming here for years on special occasions. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is great. I would recommend this venue to anyone. Plan on a several hour visit. Dinner and walking around will take some time.
