The Kale Ceasar salad and Avocado toast were GREAT! The reason for such a poor rating is because we saw some questionable activity. Employess touching their faces, beards, noses and hair. No hand washing. No glove wearing. They were on their phones and again didn't wash their hands. We saw one employee tie his shoes with gloves on. Did not change his gloves. Pushed his hair back. Then delivered food. To us. Drinking behind the bar. There are so many things that gave me an unsettled feeling. Probably will not be back. If this is how they do things under heightened sanitation, then I don't want to know what it was like Pre Covid.

OVERATED.OVERPRICED...I was totally disappointed with the food here. The ratings are high and led me to believe I couldn t go wrong with trying this place. Not so! I ordered a lamb rice bowl. The lamb was flavorless and partially uncooked. They brought out chicken to replace the lamb and the chicken tasted odd. Kind of like the lamb. Both were gag-ish. Only thing good that I tried was the brussel sprouts. Remaining positive about the experience and thinking maybe I just ordered poor choices, I decided to order a dessert. The waiter highly recommended the bread pudding, stating that it was the most popular. It was or seemed like a hand pattie lump of bread with shredded carrots and cinnamon. It tasted like bread and carrots. Definitely not a dessert to write home about. Nothing about it was worth the exaggerated price $11. My friend and I laughed on the way out, thinking what the heck are these people eating that s they re rating so good in here lol. The only thing that was good about this place was the staff; they were kind, warm and welcoming. This was unfortunately my first and my last visit.

There are no words for how delicious this food was. My husband and I have been eating Paleo for the last month and wanted to eat out. I just did a Google search for healthy food in Dallas. And HG was second on the list. I should have been first.

I will say I would have given them 5 stars had we not had such a hard time with figuring out the wait time. I called to see if I could make a reservation for 6:30 PM on a Saturday at 12 PM the same day and was told their reservations were full but you could walk in and they do not reserve spots over the phone. I was then told I could call when we were headed over and they would tell me the wait time. When I called around 6:25 PM I was told there was no wait but it was there busy time and wait would start at any time. When I asked what is the average wait time on a Saturday was the young lady on the phone could not tell me. I will say that worried me and we almost did not eat here but I was excited. When we arrived around 6:45 the wait was 40 minutes. Again we almost left because it was so hot and the roof was not an option. But then came Diana... she was our savior!!! She took great care of us and saved the rating of this establishment.

The chef and our waitress was amazing. I wish I got her name but she was great!! We still want to get cooking lesions from her.

You must valet because lower Greenville parking is the worst but worth the cost!!!

The upstairs venue is a whole other Vibe in itself! An eclectic mix of people and drinks! Great music! Did I say how much I love this place?! Bartenders are awesome! The Wait staff are awesome! The drinks are awesome!

Great service during COVID, given sanitizer at the entrance, ample space between tables, wonderful ambience on the rooftop and good food (slightly overpriced). Tried the Tex Mex and stir fry bowls with quinoa meatballs as the protein. Those quinoa meatballs were magic. Personally we liked the stir fry better than the Tex Mex, but with meat options it may be different. Good beers on tap. The rooftop was the best experience of all, breezy, wonderful view of Dallas.

Absolutely fantastic. Delicious food with an incredible vibe and atmosphere. We ate downstairs and then headed up to the rooftop for a drink. Both areas were a delight. The staff is great and we very much enjoyed the sunset toast!! Highly recommend for food, drinks and just a good night out.

After trying Hero I had to stop into HG Sply. The food and environment felt very similar, so I was happy to have checked them out. I ordered a bowl and nachos for lunch, both of which were great. Twice this company has impressed me, I'll be back for sure.

Arguably the best restaurant in Dallas. Super healthy and tasty food in a trendy location with top notch service. Walk up to the open seating roof on nights with good weather - it's a more limited menu, but the roof is super cool.

Incredible service and great food. Delicious vegetarian options and good drinks, all for an affordable price. (Meggan was a great server who even offered us to go water cups because it was extremely hot).

Really nice set up lounge in the roof, plenty of heaters so despite the cold you can have a good time. Only but is that drinks are a couple bucks more expensive and it does closes at 12, but theirs plenty of couple places near by to keep drinking

We came into town from Iowa. This was our first restaurant we tried and the entire experience was incredible! Jose, the manager, was very sweet! Our sever Zack, was awesome and took his time to get to know us. Every worker we encountered was so kind! The food and drink was phenomenal! Highly recommend!

First time to eat here tonight and it was out of this world good! I had the delicious vegan yellow curry bowl with quinoa meatballs. I also had the cider on tap which was the best cider I've ever had before.

IMy friends and I went there on the 5th of January. We got there around 10:30 p.m. and we went upstairs. No waiter or waitress came over. We waited about 30 minutes and I went to the bar to ask for some service. After I requested service, they sent a waiter to us. Once he arrived, they said they were closing soon so we have to hurry up and order. We rushed and ordered 2 soups, a order of the queso dip, and 3 shots of patron. I did ask for the manager and she acted like she did not care. They closed at 12 a.m. and we did not know. They rushed us out and while working downstairs I wanted to stop at the bathroom and a waiter yelled and said I COULD NOT GO TO THE BATHROOM because they are closing. People were still cleaning up and he was so rude. I said excuse me and asked for his name. He begin talking about me to the female bartender downstairs. We spent $150.00 for a couple of bowls of soup and 3 shots. I have never been treated with such bad service and disrespect. Please go somewhere else. The bar right across opens until 2 a.m. and treats you with respect.

Been here numerous times and always get a great meal and great service. It's a little pricey, but average for the area and worth it for the good service you get. Rooftop patio/bar/deck is pretty awesome environment especially when the weather is nice.

Ordered multiple dishes while quarantined. I loved the pulled pork over the sweet potato hash! Tuna poke bowl was delish! Looking forward to the Stack tonight and chili for lunch tomorrow. Food holds up and reheats well.

I had the curry and was impressed. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes.

The environment was enjoyable but I felt like I was sitting with strangers as the tables were so close together.

Parking was a mess.

Nice, rustic atmosphere. They have a rooftop deck with heaters where you can be served drinks, a list of appetizers, and look out onto the city.

In the main restaurant, be prepared for an hour+ wait without a reservation. The food however is amazing. They use non gmo ingredients, no butters, dairy, and no hydrogenated oils. Their meats and produce are locally sourced which is noticeable in the taste of the foods.

Woooweeeh! The food is five stars! Healthy and delicious!! Great timing with food. The servers can be tricky, you have to get the right one to really let you have a good experience. The rooftop place is beautiful, has a bomb view of downtown in the back and lower Greenville. They have fire pits going upstairs in case it gets cold... And you can still have a nice dinner up there with a beautiful view! Love the food snd the menu, like how they change it every now and then!

DELICIOUS! First time trying it out with my sister, she had the chicken sandwich. My burger was cooked very well, well put together! Whatever sauce it comes with is just amazing. Fries were great as well :)

Great atmosphere with a beautiful view of the Dallas skyline. We came here with a group of 10 people and didn't have much trouble finding a table to accommodate all of us. Drinks were average price but very tasty.

What can I say besides this place was pretty awesome! My friend and I decided one Sunday after brunch that we would try this place out for their happy hour! Super excited when I found out they have a rooftop deck because let's be honest, who doesn't love a great view while dining/drinking. When we arrived, there were plenty staff members available to greet us and get our table ready. We informed them that this would be just for drinks and no food was necessary. Our server was a cool guy but he wasn't as attentive as I like. On two occasions we had to ask for somebody else to grab him for us so we could order more drinks. No biggie but had it not been for that I would've given the 5 stars that I'm almost positive they can receive on a future visit. Although I didn't get to try the food, I would like to return and check out a few items on their menu that sparked some interest. Overall, pretty good visit. I have to say also that I really enjoyed the whole ambiance of the place, very lively, upbeat, great energy here so i will be back for sure on my next trip to Dallas!

After helping keep Greenville running during the worst of covid19, they have done a wonderful job or reopening and making people feel safe. HG is still a wonderful rooftop bar, with the same great cocktails and appetizers.

Never had anything here that I didn t enjoy! It also has options for people who are vegetarian and vegan to eat, and the staff can tell you if something isn t! (Which is very exciting if you are one of these, trust me). The restaurant is busy and can be loud. Recommend reserving a table on the weekend

Absolutely perfect. The atmosphere and wait staff, down to quality and variety of dishes. Highly recommended, there is something for everyone. Just be sure to get a reservation as the word is out.

The food was definitely delicious, and when my order came out wrong, with 2 items missing from the fresh ingredients, the waiter immediately made my meal right, and then had the manager took it off our tab. On top of that he gave us the most delicious banana coconut cream pie to go. What a nice way to make it all better! We we most certainly go back.

I often ask myself what working adult can make a happy hour that begins at 3PM, but if you are able to hit that 3-6 window on weekdays on the rooftop, then it's an amazing experience. The three buck beers on tap can't be beat and they even have Chinese food from Gung Ho on the menu. My favorite place to catch some sun, have a drink and get some fresh air in lower greenville.

The chili which is served only in HG's indoor/downstairs restaurant is also wonderful.

My girlfriend and I are particularly fond of the Strawberry Smash, that gin is really refreshing on a hot summer day. Great place and great people.

Our favorite restaurant, primarily for the quality of the food but also it's great knowing the care they take to prevent cross contamination for those with glutten allergies. Thanks for opening up in Trophy Club! The Dallas and Ft. Worth locations are great but now you made it more convenient for us to enjoy more often.
