The place was so packed out servers had a hard time keeping up with our large party, but the place wasn't awful. Because 2 of my coworkers had their credit card number stolen I have to give it a poor rating

Great vibe and awesome rooftop. All food is "clean eating" and hunter and gatherer style, hence the HG. Get the burger bowl. Great flavor and seasoning. The Moscow Mule was a little sweeter than I like, but refreshing.

Love this place! My girlfriends and I came here for a girls night. We did have a wait to sit down but we didn t mind because they have a rooftop bar with tables too. The only downside is you can order some foods but not everything on the menu on the roof bar. It wasn t a big deal though. The drinks were really good but pricey but that is expected for the area. I had a gin holiday drink (not on the online menu) but it had pear and was so tasty! It can be a bit loud but that s understandable for a Dallas bar. The view is amazing, if you go be sure to walk upstairs to see it at night!

They have a menu that pleases everyone in the restaurant. I ate the zucchini pasta with quinoa balls. My friends chose the stir fry and a steak option. We loved it all. The service was spot on for a Saturday night.

Drinking beer on a rooftop and occasionally spitting off the balconies is one of my favorite pastimes, and HG definitely answers the bell here. Plenty of TV screens if the big game is on, and thank goodness for the heat lamps when it's a little chilly outside. I really like how they format the seating on the roof: there's a fairly large bar, some traditional booths, long tables, and little private "cubby" tables. Definitely a good spot to bring the gang for happy hour.

Unfortunately, during my first and only visit here and after sitting on the rooftop bar for a few hours, my friend and I saw rats scurrying across the floor and underneath tables. I did not get a picture of the rats, but they were incredibly large. One ran over my friends foot. We alerted the wait staff, who informed us that seeing rats was nothing out of the ordinary and that the whoever was in charge does not believe in "poison". I won't be back.

Omg! The duck fried "rice" was amazing! It was made with riced cauliflower which is a bonus for a low carb gal such as myself. The price point was perfect for the menu and the drinks were excellent as well.

Delicious and diverse menu, the staff were friendly and the happy hour drink specials-fantastic! Their menu allows for you to build out a tasty creation or pick one of their tried and true options. I went with the chicken fried chicken and loved every minute and every bite.

Amazing food and great/helpful service, reasonable prices, and great atmosphere. First time coming to Dallas and just happened upon this place on the way to Granada Theater but will be back if we come to Dallas again!

Visiting Dallas for the first time and this was a great find! Waiter Mike was very attentive and the atmosphere was great! Huge patio upstairs with a nice skyline view of Dallas! Nice walking area there in Lower Greenville as well.

Absolutely love the experience here! The rooftop patio is my fav. Large, spacious area with lots of seating, full bar, great bites and a perfect view. If you have a larger group you'll need to reserve seating on the patio, separately from downstairs. Only thing I would ask for is more food options up top! Expand that menu, please :)

Loved the rooftop deck. It had pretty patio lighting and overlooks the skyline (from a distance). We were a small group of 5 and were hanging out on the deck until we got seated at the restaurant downstairs. The food was pretty great.

Holy Cow!! Where do I even begin??!! We went to the Greenville location and had THE best time in a long time! We know its partly because of the people that work there. They simply looked happy to be there. And don t even get me started on Lauren, the GM. She made my mom cry happy tears. As soon as she found out it was her birthday, she went down the street and surprised her with handmade flower arrangement. Who does that?! Not even the 5 star restaurant, I went to last week made us feel this warm, welcomed, and wanted! Even the food here was 100 percent tastier, healthier, and fresher. One could say it was made with love! The roof top view, incredible! The vibe, perfection! We can t believe we ve lived in Dallas this long, and haven t found a place like this until now. Thank you, Lauren! and please thank your team for being the best in a time of unrest. The food and the experience y all created for us, will never be forgotten.

Delicious food!!!!! They have a menu in where you can get some good food pretty quickly and defiantly good idea to share a few appetizers in order to try different dishes. Prices are not cheap and not too expensive either. Most dishes are worth the extra bucks for sure!

My waiter walked to a nearby grocery store upon learning I couldn t have regular soda because of the sugar content. Who does that?! I was floored. I love this place. They go above and beyond.

First of all, this place is cool. It has a cool vibe, cool rooftop scene (like really, really cool) - the view from the rooftop is incredible. The food is fine, but don t go for the food, honestly. Go for cocktails and apps on the rooftop and you ll love it. I had the backyard burger and it was good, but nothing to write home about - if you re looking for a happy hour or drinks out with friends, this would be a good place. Not family friendly really

Fantastic rooftop with ample seating and delicious menu! Grab some nachos and modify them with - maybe an additional protein? Pork *and* chicken?! Their protein bowls with brussel sprouts and sweet potato hash are heavenly. I m so glad I don t live walking distance to this place, because I probably would have a different bank account balance with all the dine-in or to-go orders from HG.

Beautiful space and great location. Food was painfully average and service was abysmal. Got the shrimp bowl stir fry style. Tasted like they got some frozen vegetable mix from trader Joe's across the street, thawed it, and thew in 4 shrimp. Heater didn't work for the first 20 mins or so that we were there, no utensils with the meal, and didn't come by to see if we wanted more beer (we did). It's probably a great place to get drinks and longue, not so much for dinner.

HG Supply Co has a nice view of the Dallas skyline if you go up on the roof. The roof is my favorite part of the restaurant. It's a lot bigger thank you expect and the atmosphere is really calming and fun. Lauren made our experience even better, one of the best servers I've ever had!

This is a great place to visit if you just moved to Dallas, but after being forced to meet here so many times I ve noticed how the charm wore off pretty fast. The food is decent. Not bad food but nothing that s really spectacular or anything that stands out. Drinks are pricey, but that s because of the atmosphere. The atmosphere is great during the week, but on the weekends it gets too crowded to be comfortable. The rooftop is beautiful, but if you don t get there early enough you might find yourself standing awkwardly. I will always bring first time visitors to Dallas here because of the breath taking views on the roof top but as far as this being a regular dinner or drinks spot? Eh. There s many other bars in the area where it s more comfortable. Visit it once though. It s worth a shot.

Went here with my boyfriend on our visit to Texas and we loved the place. It was gorgeous outside so they had the patio open, and service ran smoothly and efficiently. The only thing that was confusing for us was the menu. Half of the menu was apps, salads, sandwiches, etc. while the other half of it was the "bowl menu". We were both unsure of what that entailed, so we stuck to the basics, but after seeing the bowls others ordered we came to regret this decision. I wish the menu had been more clear on what they were, but we also could have asked for clarification from our extremely nice waiter/bartender.
We'll definitely be visiting again next time we come to Texas!

This is a great little bar/bistro with lots of natural choices. The excellent waitstaff are very sensitive to dietary needs/restrictions and very friendly. I had the Italian steak and fries. Delicious. Great "cheese" dip. Kind of a hipster vibe. High energy music. A little loud for talking and long wait when we showed up, but the staff worked with us. Overall great experience.

The bowls here are tasty and very healthy. I recommend the chicken tex-mex bowl with an egg added.
Rooftop is the best in all of Lower Greenville and among the best in DFW. Note that the rooftop opens later in the afternoon.

This is mine and my wife s favorite restaurant in Dallas! The rooftop bar is large and has a great view of the skyline. Everything I ve ordered off the menu has been delicious. Whenever our friends visit Dallas we make sure to bring them to HG Sply. However, if you want to come on a weekend night make sure you make a reservation because it will be busy!

Super trendy, hip place to get incredibly good, unique food. Don't let the whole paleo thing or whatever scare you off. I'm on no diet, but the food here is solid, no matter how healthy it is.

I wanted to love this place. I love the Lower Greenville area, we've had great experiences with nearby businesses, and have friends who adore HG Sply. Unfortunately, my experience just wasn't there. Our waiter was often MIA, so much so that we waited for over 20 minutes to pay for our check and had to ask a host to assist us. I'm thinking maybe he had a table on the roof or something, but even so, as a table with a baby and a young child, we really needed some help with basics like extra napkins, and just couldn't seem to grab that help. Beyond that, my order of the roast chicken was lacking both in portion and salt, salt being the more grievous error. We did thoroughly enjoy the hummus and crudites platter, and the avocado toast dish. I just wish that our overall service experience and the chicken plate had corresponded the same way. I'm hoping to try again and visit the rooftop bar which I hear is fabulous, but I'm rly bummed about HG Sply so far.
