Had a legal issue that multiple attorneys at different law firms couldn't help with. Two calls to Jerry Cavellier and we were squared away with a plan of action to deal with the issue. If we have legal issues to work though again Jerry and Hertz Schramm will be at the top of our to call list.
We went there for an entrepreneurial business meeting. In which we encountered one of the attorneys working for the above firm. We had an excellent experience and may be using him as our corporate attorney.

Hands down the best attorneys you can get. I have worked closely with Jerry and Laura Nieusma during my very difficult child custody case. They go above and beyond. The response time is amazing, for a busy law firm i don t know how they do it. I can get them on the phone or have a response in a timely manner anytime of the day. Spoke with a man on the phone and he made a very inappropriate joke about my past/charges that I m trying to get expunged. He said he was joking but it was not at all funny or called for.

I hate to do this because I didnt even get a chance to work with the attorney, but based on the attitude of the receptionist that answered the phone when I called to inquire about services, I would not do business with them. The person that greets the client sets the tone and her tone was very unwelcoming.

Amerique updated us on all developments regarding our settlement on a timely basis and set a realistic timeline. She thoroughly explained the process and patiently answered our questions. Horrible experience. Another typical firm that will pad hours and do nothing. Hired them for an important legal matter that they assured me they would resolve after a free consultation. A partner then assigned it to a junior lawyer. Bait and switch. They made 1 phone call, left Vmail, then wrote me a letter saying it wasn t worth the time and there wasn t much of an issue in their opinion. Right, it s just my life, not that important. Sent me a bill for $2000+. Padded the bill by charging me for the partners initial consultation. Tried to contact them to resolve but just kept getting sent to their billing dept. they wouldn t adjust the bill. When I refused to pay it they came after me. Beware. More like Hertz Scam.
