Henry J Beans Bar and Grill Review

Met a friend of mine for lunch in December. Service polite & efficient. Portions were generous in size. Ventilation in the restaurant appears to be poor as the entire dining room smelled of kitchen exhaust. As a result, one's clothing would smell heavily upon leaving the venue. Also, the men's restrooms are in dire need of an in-depth cleaning as well as maintenance.

Burgers, wraps really excellent, hearty and for a reasonable price and more And if you have room (not sure views portions ...), the dessert menu is worth a look.

The bar is great, but my last visit was really disappointing. The legendary ribs were very hard to eat which makes them not legendary anymore.

Not impressed. My veggie burger was nothing more than mashed potatoes with some sweet corn and peas. A huge plate of carbs, which I left. Ok for a drink I suppose and listen to some noisy rugby fans.

Great American sports bar with authentic food and friendly service.

Place was completely empty, but waiters directed us to two uncomfortable seats and wouldn't allow us to sit at a place near the window. Left without ordering.

Good pub, nice setting, very nice servers and the dishes offered are good and very generous, big eater it's for you! Very good value for money.

Friendly service, very good food. Tasty ribs, fries at the same time crispy and soft inside. Furnaces rich. Happy Hours for drinks up to 19 is a nice touch - two beers better than one A good place for dinner especially because the terrace in the evening is in the shade.

Have been to this place twice this month and don't regret the choice. Being overly cautious due to the pandemic, we were not very much at ease going to a public place but we had to treat our 2 sons for their Birthdays by going to a place that's their favourite. However, may I say that we felt really comfortable and safe at HJB's. Tables and seats were spotlessly clean and well apart from each other, more than the legal minimum. And a few words about the food are now due. We chose from their famous burger menu and whatever you choose, it is simply mouth watering, unique in presentation and exquisite in taste. For a petrol head like me, the Full Throttle Burger will test your limits and will fill your tank to the brim! I recommend this place with two thumbs up. Splendid Athmosphere, Excellent Food, Friendly Staff and above all, Safe given the present circumstances.

The food is really good and the atmosphere is very casual and relaxed as is the service. You are served well without them being too pushy. Definitely recommended for a relaxed night out eating simple American food.

It's a very cool place to go. Food very good and appetizing. You can book a place there too. Oh and people with wheel chairs may have a hard time going down the stairs. The cost is well worth it for me it's a cozy place and a good place to go.

Went with low expectations and was still disappointed. Food resembled some out of a cheap frozen super market chain and had no taste nor heat to it. Staff were OK but got our order wrong and were slow to serve. I would not recommend this "restaurant" to anyone

My parents used to take us when we were young and we used to get super excited at the mention of "Hank's". Took my nephew and niece this summer... I had the same butterflies in my stomach before I drowned them in ribs and wings.

Very bad food and service. The burger meet is dry, the bread old and everything is made without love. This is the worse burger I have ever eaten. The service is not interested that you feel good and was not even asking if everything was fine. A common question in restaurants. I don't now why a five star hotel as the Corinthia is hosting this place. Very disappointing.

Fun place for a good meal. The setting is anerican like, i recommend the chicken wings with voodoo sauce.

Over rated - food very average and not cheap. Drinks ok.

Big portions but poor quality food. Ordered the shepherds pie,it tasted and smelled bad.
When I complained I was told there is nothing wrong with it, it s our chef s special Irish recipe and suppose to be like this. I was offered a free cup of coffee as a good will gesture but I declined just in case it was chef s special Irish coffee. I paid for my meal but never went back there again. I suggest you do the same.

The food was alright but the service was very slow from when we set down it was around 30min till someone came to take our order and then another 25min waiting for our dirinks and the food took way to longer to arrive to our table

Very cool atmosphere, we went twice to eat there. Unfortunately, the burgers are nothing special and only average, as well as the Coleslaw served. But the ribs and wings for better and absolutely to be recommended! The portions are big. Reservation is recommended! Hotel guests can also book their room here. Fast service, within 45 minutes we were finished - with appetizers and main courses.

I first visited this restaurant almost 20 years ago with my father while I was visiting him in Malta. This place has never let me down. The food and the service have always been great.

As I was working on father's day 2017, my loved ones decided to treat me on the eve before, while I also had a cheeky plan to surprise the love of my life a little who recently beat cancer.

The service from the moment we arrived was exceptional. A big mention will go to the supervisors that helped me with the smallest of details, but they meant the world to us. Thank you Daniella and Liam for being such great sports!!
I also have to mention the great service from the waiters. Fantastic!

The service was nice on both occasions and there was no basic problem with the food, but there was nothing special eg. Burger.
But the place feel loved it!

Amazing food and really chill atmosphere ... we were two people and we ordered the Nachos Deluxe as a starter - they are insanely good BUT maybe a bit too large for just two people... otherwise, the portions for the main course were good and the quality of the food was great. Highly recommend for a chill night out!

Definitely a great place all round - helpful stuff, great ambience, very large portions and, best of all, good food. The only two advices that I give is to book beforehand and try to avoid their rush hours to get them at their best.

I had T-bone, ribs and wings, chiken nugget.
T-bone just was ok but I don't recomend. If you are stay in Corinthia hotel, you should enjoy T-bone, Buger with room service.
We've got Ribs and wings tasted reheated and weird. We just took 3 piece of ribs and only one wing. Regarding the chiken nugget for my daughter, she found something red color in side of chiken.
You can say "How delicious!" If you order beer, ketchup and Sprite.
