Great company!

Great company!
I had been looking for trainee recruitment roles and interviewed at Henlow, I decided not to take the position as I was initially put off by the hours, having worked at a different company I wish I had taken Henlow up on their offer! Turns out the hours are the same in any recruitment company, difference is Henlow are honest about it as opposed to frowning and calling your work ethic into question should you decide to leave on time!
We all make mistakes! Their commission structure was uncapped, the office was lively, buzzing and friendly and everyone I met throughout the process was lovely. The process felt long at the time (I was there half a day) but in hindsight they were just being thorough. Highly recommend getting in touch with them if you are looking for a role in recruitment.

Very poor experience I went for a job interview back in February to work for this recruitment agent, it felt like an interrogation rather than a job interview let highlight how wretched the experience was.

I walked in 15 minutes prior to the interview time they made me wait half an hour had no sence of hospitality what so ever didn't even offer me a glass of water, then I was interviewed by three different people don't quiet understand why in between each interview there was a wait of about 30 minutes in a room alone with no lights the last person who interviewed me was very intellectual to a point he ran out of words so he decide its professional to start swearing during the interview how peofessional!

Anyhow the interview was finished and I was promised that I will get a call back the next day obviously that didn't happen, overall very terrible experience even if they would have offered me the job I would have turned it down. Don't even wast your time dealing with this organisation avoid avoid!

Email candidates first. Don't spam call them without any prior contact.

Otherwise top talent lets their whole network know about your poor practices, and we choose to work with other recruiters.

Got approached for an opportunity by a recruiter from Henlow. Very pushy from the beginning, only to never get in touch with me after the initial interview. After asking, I got the feedback that the company I interviewed with was very positive. However, I never heard anything after that. Very very unprofessional and will never be respresented by Henlow again.

Potential employer said they were giving me a final interview. My case handler went on holiday for 2 weeks - never replied to my email. When back, employer already hired someone else - I never had the chance to do my final interview. DON'T LET THEM REPRESENT YOU.

Interviewed here and it was the worse recruitment company I have ever come across. I left there feeling disgusted and almost put off by a career in recruitment!
I was interviewed by 3 different boys all very unprofessional with no intellect. I was asked by one of them if I was a single which I thought was an odd question, he then went on to say in recruitment you have to be single to succeed?!!
Horrible atmosphere, everyone is standing up you would think with how much they boast about their revenue, the place would invest in chairs for their staff.
It seems the general consensus is that Henlow is by far the worst recruitment company around.

I joined henlow and after a day in their company I don't feel like the new guy! I thought it would take longer to settle in and be accepted.
They are welcoming, friendly and make the effort to get to know you.
The training programme is great and has involvement from lots of different people in the company. Lunch with the director on the first day is a nice touch too.

Henlow Group started emailing people in my company that they have candidates for job openings we don't even have. Most shadly, claiming they have been hired by our company to recruit (which they haven't). Unethical and shady.

apparently they called my sister's phone asking for me and when she said they had the wrong person they just hang up... what kind of recruitment method is this? don't bother my family if you are just going to hang up!

My interview was well structured, I met four people in total of different levels in the business and was shown around the office. My first day was daunting but by lunch time I felt a lot better. I was concerned when I read a review saying you stood up all day and was pleasantly surprised to find the desks were electronic meaning you can sit down or stand up.
I have done two deals in a relatively short space of time and am looking forward to many more!

I found Henlow to have great energy!

I found Henlow to have great energy!
Everyone is so upbeat, happy and positive. it makes a huge difference working alongside people who want to be there!
Managers and Directors work with us
Everyone helps each other as 'a deal is a deal'
People listen, they can't change everything, but they will hear you out
The 'challenges' can be a little belittling, but you are given ample opportunity to avoid them!!

Terrible!

Terrible!
Was contacted by a recruiter, then after sending my CV I never heard from him again.
It felt he was only exfiltrating my personal information and did nothing with it, really.

These are the kind of people who give the recruitment industry a bad name.
