Going on 6 hours with no power and no explanation....

Going on 6 hours with no power and no explanation. Called twice. Outage map says no outages in 46165. Power STILL OUT!

Once office opened, talked to lady in office; said my address didn't show any outage when she looked ... . She reported it; now showing on my address; and she also offered to call and let me know once it was back on as I was concerned for my animals. SUPER helpful and nice! Less than 15 minutes later ... TWO linemen trucks already here and trying to find out what the problem is ...

Changed out the utility poles in our yard, after they were finished my husband went out to check it out and noticed they had cracked our driveway in each corner when they drove a large truck loaded with gravel over the driveway ( I was home from work that day and saw it) Since then we have called HP left messages finally got a hold of someone named Devon and told my husband those cracks are old. Devon was extremely rude could care less about HP customers. As of today still have not heard another word from them about fixing our driveway. Devon did tell my husband that he tried to call him several times NOT TRUE..Devon clearly doesnt realize there is a thing called calller ID. I really expect someone at HP to take care of this problem and the piss poor customer service

WORST of all time. Hendricks power does NOT care if you are dying and need service. Even asking for a couple of days of power for a dying person in freezing temps is to much to ask of them. Seriously, a loved one having cancer going through the fight for the third time in 5 years and all we needed was a couple days to gather things and we were told no that we would have to pay over $1200 dollars to get it back on even for a few days. Who does that!!! I mean way to go for Hendricks Power to be the place to take away a sick persons last shred of dignity. Sometime people.get sick and fall behind in bills but that is NOT allowed at Hendricks power. Gee thanks for your care, compassion, and such lack of concern for another human being. Prisons don't treat the worst inmates this harsh. Get Hendricks power at your own health risk.

You guys are the best!! Came home from a meeting Saturday evening about 10:15 pm. Lights were out but with an occasional flicker. Neighbors all around us had power but we were out. I was not looking forward to an evening without heat on one of the coldest nights of the year! Made a call to Hendricks Power Cooperative and by 11:30 pm power was restored!!

It doesn t get any better than that!! Thank you HPC for the fast service and dependable power throughout the year. You are the best!!

Hendricks power makes you, the new resident, pay for the delinquency of the previous residents. So, if you pay your bill on time, all the time and move to a new place, where the previous residents paid poorly, YOU now have to pay a high deposit. They tried to charge someone a $600 deposit because of the previous residents. On top of that, they are beyond RUDE and FORCEFUL. Not happy at all. People don't close on houses for these reasons.

There is no consistency between workers with the company. We had asked about a tree being cut that was on a power line and were told since it s on a service line and only effects our house they won t do anything. Both my mother and mother in laws had trees cut in their yard that were on their service lines within the last two years.
We ended up hiring a company but needed the lines dropped and was told it would be $250 to get them dropped on the weekend, but our tree service company said they had never had that issue and they do work on the weekends all the time.
The tree service job was a 2 separate day project. The first time they dropped the lines they took everything down, one the second day they only took one line down and told us the other was internet so they don t touch it. Had I known they wouldn t do it I could have called the internet company To come out too but didn t think I d need to since they took them down the first time.
I feel like the company either doesn t consistently train their workers or there are some willing to do things that others won t. It wouldn t be so frustrating for these items if I knew they never did them, but some customers can have certain things and others cannot is what makes it frustrating.

They are horrible, On top of the bad customer service in the unfortunate event that your electricity is disconnected they charge you a $100 reconnect fee ( Which is astronomical)that has to be paid along with the outstanding bill.. Talk about making it hard on the customer... smh

Yet another 1 star rating for this company. You would think that management would do something to try to fix the issues.

My complaint is a customer service issue, as well as a price gauging investigation. I called to report a possible issue with reporting from the meter when receiving my final bill. There was a 63% spike in price while no one was living there, no appliances and no utilities were being used. The lady I spoke with was rude and told me there was no way to contest it and nothing i could do but pay the bill. If you have the option, AVOID THIS COMPANY. I do believe the price was raised as an error but I was unable to resolve the issue due to no help from the receptionist that gave me a completely incorrect lesson on physics and thermal engineering.

I wish there was no stars option. Horrible service.day or night. I just had my power turned off and haven't recieved a bill let alone a disconnect notice.and it's about 34 degrees outside. Horrible ethics and business practices. The bill is a measly $115 dollars and your trying to charge me a $100 fee to reconnect my service TOMORROW!!!!! How I owe you extra money for you not sending me a bill is beyond me.
