Nice Christian Church, a bit big for my taste as I grew attending a church of Christ in Nashville that is about 1/3 the size. Still, an inspiring place of worship.

A very friendly and welcoming congregation with plenty of parking for visitors. A new minister was starting the day I was there, so it was a little bit different kind of experience, but looking forward to attending here again the next time I'm in town.
It's really more of a country club than a church. You will be ignored if you visit. You will not be welcome if you try to get involved in a class or group. WORST CHILDREN'S MINISTRY I HAVE EVERY SEEN!!!
Go to a Bible Study Class there. Great teachers and have awesome discussions on the lesson . Enjoy my class there.
How many salaried leaders do you need in a church. Half of them work 20 hours a week for a 45 hour salary. Worship leader, executive minister and on and on. Do you have mlced singers too. Do you have to qualify to sing in a mic. What about instruments and a chioir. Does it make more tax free money for the church or does it go to the staff to fill their pockets. I cannot believe the cap that's going on in these churches of christ. Just sickening.
I do not attend Hendersonville Church of Christ, but I do know the new minister Les Chapman! He is a good man who will be an asset to the church as well as the community!
I can't remark on the church in the religious aspect. Their charitable outreach program is a God send.
Passionate scripture filled sermon. I enjoyed worshipping with the church of Christ that meets in Hendersonville.
What you must do to be saved
1. One must believe that God. Existed on earth, preexisting in heaven.( John1:1-3,14)
2.One must believe that he was a great teacher( John3:2; 7:46) and believe His Teachings Matthews 28:20.
3. One must believe that He was a good man, and that he was Sinless(John 8:46; Hebrews 4:15) when CHRIST died for our sins of the hold world he had No sins, it should have been all of us. We are the one who has sin. Not Christ.
My kids go to school here and love it. It's about 330/mo per child in kindergarten. Prices vary for other age groups. They only teach up to kindergarten. But I know I see many kids who are much younger also being dropped off. As far as worshipping here, I went to this church growing up- about 20 years ago and the youth program was fantastic. Also, I went through the kindergarten program. Looking back it truly gave me so many opportunities. Some may consider the worship here a bit boring, but church of Christ tries to be as traditional as possible. - no musical instruments, all a capella. I must admit that despite growing up here, personally I prefer instruments during praise songs, but IMO we're not here to be entertained. We are here to heap praise on the Lord. I must remind myself of that
Amazing people. Helped my family out in a rough time.
I love this church I've been going here since I was 11 years old got baptized here when I was 13 and I still attend this church every Sunday
I am a member of the church and my family went because we were new in town. We wanted to find a home church for our family. This church was bigger than what we were used to, but that was okay. However, we walked by probably 45 people and were just stared at. No one said hello or can I show you were this or that is. Nothing. I felt very out of place as well as not knowing where to go (upstairs or down) After the service, one gentleman came up to me and asked if we were members there. I said no and presumed he was new to the church also. He said he had been going there for a long time but it was so big he didn t know who was new from the members. It really hurt us and our experience that no one but this gentlemen spoke to us and even as we left there was no interaction. I won t be back as we have found a Chruch of Christ in Franklin now that was so friendly and welcoming. My advice would be to talk to people as they arrive because I felt totally ignored and out of place. I wasn t expecting anything grand but a hello would have been nice instead of all the looks. I did have a problem with the microphones also. Not that the preacher had them, but that some audience members did. It made me feel that they were more important than the rest of us and i didn t care for that.
