My husband immigrated from Greece and we have spent a lot of time in Greece together over the years. This is the first restaurant in Brisbane that he (and myself) were impressed with the quality of the Greek food. If you closed your eyes you truly could believe you were in a good restaurant in Greece. Special mention to the Horta which is impossible to find here In Australia but they ve managed to replicate it seamlessly. Service was also impeccable. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff! Great selection of ouzo served with plenty of ice which is definitely a must when eating all of that oily food. Love the fact that they had half serves as well which was perfect for hubby and I. We got to try more food! Worth every cent and will definitely return.

We popped in for a drink and ended up having a quick bite. Duck liver with oyster mushroom, grilled octopus and also their green bean salad - amazing!! Flavors, taste, quality was brilliant. Putting this aside, the restaurant itself is beautiful, great vibes, cool tones. Felt like I was back in Monaco, very southern France! Customer service was also very welcoming. Looking forward to going back for a proper meal and drinkies!

We had a fabulous evening at Hellenika, celebrating my birthday. The food was divine, the atmosphere was chic yet romantic, and the service was impeccable. A special shout out to our waiter, Gabe, whose warm and attentive service made the night even more enjoyable. Thank you, Hellenika!

Upon arrival the restaurant is gorgeous, feels high end while being affordable. The food was delicious, me and my partner struggled to decide what to eat because it all sounded good. Our server was also really great, she was attentive and spent time with us explaining dishes the menu and certain dishes. Overall great experience and we will be back to try the rest of the menu!

My partner and I both thought Hellenika was only okay. Our opinion weighs up the flavour, portions, service and cost. We were pretty unimpressed with the flavour of our two large plates, especially the $48 bug spaghetti, though the portions were good. We found the bug dish was mediocre at best. When I gave the waiter my honest feedback, he kind of shrugged and said you should ve gone with my suggestions . Be that as it may, I think all meals should be meticulously created to be delicious and titillating at a restaurant of this supposed caliber. We did enjoy our dessert. But unfortunately, we think we were paying for the location/ prestige than the actual dining experience. The atmosphere inside is lovely and its elegant and the ladies at the front were very helpful. However, the rest of our experience was only okay, and actually subpar when it came to the waiter, who also forgot my partners wine (which he ordered well before my flavourless cocktail that I didn t finish), and then they tried to charge us for a bottle of wine instead of just a glass.

Recently dined with a small group of friends based on a recommendation and was not disappointed.

Atmosphere was lively and warm with good service and the food was excellent. Given the huge number of options on the menu, we opted for the standard banquet menu which I can highly recommend. Highlights being the lamb shoulder, calamari, the dips and the dessert.

Unless you are after a quieter atmosphere for a business dinner, I d definitely recommend Hellenika.

Amazing experience, fresh beautifully prepared food. We had the classic banquet and it was so lovely. Definitely coming back. If you like Greek food this place is a must.

Food was average, I found some of them quite salty. The only highlight was the zuchini chips, tastes amazing. Service on the other hand, Erica, is nice and friendly.

I have never been somewhere so expensive, yet so bland.

To start the $10 glass of orange juice was the size of a shot glass (but weirdly in a large wine glass). The scrambled eggs, while not disgusting, lacked any flavour at all. There were many waiters/waitresses but no sense of urgency, expect an hour wait before food arrives. No tomato ketchup, orders wrong, made up bills mainly a real lack of flavour and taste.

I would advise to steer clear unless you enjoy being disappointed and frustrated.

Beautiful, delicious Greek food with friendly and attentive staff. Get the banquet menu if you come in a group ($85 per person).

Love the veal dolmades, lamb, prawns and fried zucchinis especially. SO good! Really worth it!
