The same thing and I that I booked two people and we are sitting remotely. Very stupid for a company of this magnitude. Shame but unfortunately monopoly .. We do not have many options ...

Very helpful office. Bravo to Maria who was an excellent customer service care agent! However, waited one hour in line to get Gold Bonus Miles Upgrade. One hour out of a 7 hour trip waiting in line. It's a joke.

I traveled to Mytilene, Piraeus and returned..because of covid, half the seats remained vacant, but the fullness was the same !! People were fighting for a place in the living room. We were stacked on top of each other. The aircondition in full. They used to torture us so that next time we could get a cabin. High prices, get supplies before you enter. Ok, it happens to all ships in Greece but at some point it has to stop. Tickets are very expensive and you get a state subsidy for these itineraries ... we are not doing a favor!

The company is reliable and departures on time.
Some boats are a bit old.
The cheapest cabins (separate men and women) are located at the front of the boat. It is really very noisy because we hear the waves slammed on the hull of the boat. It is therefore preferable to provide earplugs to sleep a minimum.

The boat never came and informed us half an hour after the supposed departure time that there was a fault and that we had to wait for one and a half hours to present the next one, which incidentally would have been slower.

The boat never arrived and they informed us one hour later than the expected boarding time that the boat had mufuctionedand and that we had to wait another 1.5 hours to get the next one which was also slower.Not happy at all.

Very nice boat. There are seats with and without a table. Everything looked very new. The boarding was a bit chaotic, I think they should organize it better. You have to leave the luggage in the garage and then go up. But when you are there, it is not clear and there are people going from one side to the other without knowing what to do. The wifi is bad, but it works for basic things. Seats were assigned rare. We meet at two separate tables along a corridor. Luckily, there was a lot of free space and we could change. The bathrooms are very clean and spacious. There is a person cleaning them during the trip.

Journey to Spetses, with Flyingcat 6, a little hurrying the crew on board, perhaps because of a somewhat late arrival, but for most who do not know, it sounds pretty imposing and ugly! In the Bar Bar, they did not accept the sea smiles card when purchasing products so that they can be assigned the same points! The trip was pleasant and comfortable, although it was full of the ship! Complementing my assessment and when boarding our return from Spetses, the girls of the reception show such an imposing style, which I can say, that anyone who has traveled a lot can treat it as ... "and that we transport you, thanks to you "!!! At the moment each ticket costs 40-51 ! So, I review my initial assessment, in ... Very Likely 3 *! Unfortunately for the third time I review my review because during the trip I tried to take panoramic photos of the flyingcat 6 area, to attach to this criticism but a member of the crew, in the most arrogant style, informed me that it is forbidden to shoot of the space, because it is a public space and I have to respect the personal data !!! I know very well what, of course, I have just dismissed the two pictures I had taken and I asked the girl who said that it was forbidden to shoot, but also where there was a weight restriction on the special luggage compartments above the seats, since they also banned me to put the cabin case, which I use on all my air travels, in Greece and abroad! Also my suitcase initially told me to take it with me, on the front of the boat, but our seats were from the last back right. I left the suitcase in a foreign place I found, behind the middle seats, but again with the suggestion of the crew, I moved it to the luggage compartment! I did it because in the empty space that I left the suitcase I saw the indication for people with disabilities! However, after the boarding of passengers from Hydra, the same space was done without small luggage, (attached photo). And the rescue video, I think it was supposed to be on every departure, something that did not happen when we left Spetses. Maybe Hellenic Seaways, (at the Attica Group now), also suggests ways of behaving to escort crews! Unacceptable! And if somebody wonders if I'm ... strange, let me tell you that I own the Seasmiles Gold Card, which has SuperFast and Blue Star and now belongs to Hellenic Seaways!

Bought 2 tickets for me and my girlfriend, economy...

Bought 2 tickets for me and my girlfriend, economy class, we get to the port and we find out that the ferry from Mykonos to Athens is 1.5 hours late. Once finally boarded, we get told by the staff to keep walking down the end and turn left and sit there. Surprise surprise there are no seats but just a floor where you can sleep if you want to! This is for a 4.5 hours trip. I asked explanations to 2 different staff members and they both just said that this is the economy. Economy means to them sleep on the floor. A dog gets a better treatment I guess. We found some chairs to sit in the restaurant area and we were told that we can t sit there unless you buy food, in a rude way again.
When we bought the tickets there was no mention at all about this, otherwise we wouldn t have bought them in first place.

I highly recommend to avoid this ferry company. The staff at the port didn t even know on which deck the ferry was coming. Just ridiculous! Stay away from Hellenic seaways..

If I were to put zero stars I would put them, an unacceptable delay (almost 2 hours, a skylight) that cost me other tickets, crowdsourcing, zero organization and prices that do not match what it provides.

Would definitely not recommend this catamaran flyingcat 5, I have sailed with it, a number of times. Always late in the arrival time and the cat stinks of diesel/oil inside. Safety for passenger should be better, I hope this is not the standard...

For those who know what ships crossed from Parnass...

For those who know what ships crossed from Parnassia until 2000, the company's ships are really top-of-the-line HSF4, especially in the summer months. I was also lucky enough to travel with Chios Island from Piraeus from Naxos and the ship was flying, breaking the 5 hour dam, making the route for 4 hours and 25 minutes ... We hope to see it again on the route even on extraordinary routes.

I booked tickets from Hydra to Piraeus from 20: 20-21: 20 and 2 hours before departure they sent us a message that the ship was damaged and the only alternative they gave us was to leave at 20:00 from Hydra for Metochi and from there to get us a bus to Athens ... we started at 20:30 from Hydra, we arrived 21:00 Metohi and then 1:15 Piraeus ... think it's tragic you could not have chartered a ship to get us Athens and we had to we get all this trouble ... many have been closed and air tickets that they lost because of it ... bruises s bloody ...

Great hassle the process of closing (or not closing) any tickets with the offer of cosmote. Having done all the necessary actions and calling the right time, the result was 3 hours of waiting at the call center and finally no service. Expensive tickets, mockery and low morality for profit only, not even for a star. I'm sorry.

I've been at the VIP Lounge.
Although they have someone who cares about cleaning the toilets, they stink. They only have few plug sockets under the tablets and not under every table. So you have to be lucky for charging your phone (it's a fact, that we all paid 75 , but only a few have the possibility to use the plug socket.)

I have nothing negative to say about the speed. We arrived on time and it really took only 6 hours from Amorgos to Athens. And that is the only positive aspect about the Hellenic seaways.

The worst company I've ever traveled. Specifically, we traveled with Mykonos Island. Unless if you have the cheap tickets you will be given to the back of the ship in which the noise is excessive but also the roof is broken on the particular ship from the inside and it rains even more .. When we mentioned it to the crew was particularly rude and simple he did not care for them at all. A thousand times expect to go with BlueStar

Incredibly unhappy. We had booked return tickets from Ios to Piraeus and we were informed 2 days before disembarkation that this ship (Chios Island) no longer operates! But no one had informed us two weeks ago when we printed the tickets at Piraeus. There was a possibility for high-speed only, where we had to pay more. We were forced to take the money back and buy from another company. Pity!

Unacceptable policy for those who travel with a dog. They forced me to pay another 3 beds to give me a pet cabin 180 euros Piraeus Mytilene! the other deck solution, but 14 hours travel, the tour of the Aegean is not the best solution ..... Unfortunately once again the border islands remain in its luck!

Flying dolphin?? It s more like stuttering carp. Never got up on plane and wallowed along with the engines out of sync and stinking inside of diesel and exhaust fumes. Don t waste your money on this, take the regular ferry and keep your lunch down.

I travelled from Syros to Pireus and the condition of the ferry was very bad.
Although it almost arrived on time, it was extremely dirty inside. The halls had dirt on the floors and no one from the staff seemed to care and the female toilets were extremely dirty - dangerously dirty I would say.
It is such a shame, because the price of the ticket is as high as other ferry on the same line, but the quality you offer does not relate to them.

Verdict: Hellenic Seaways is a company lacking professionalism, organisation and structure of any kind and above all, respect towards their clients. If you are thinking of travelling with their flying dolphins I urge you to reconsider since you might end up stranded on the island!

The Long Story Cut Short:
On September 2016 I booked online tickets for a three day city break. I had a marvelous time in Agistri, but it all went south fast when without any kind of notification Hellenic Seaways decided to cancel my return trip. The very last available return ship from the island at that!

I called them as soon as the locals told me they had heard from the nearby island Aigina that my trip was cancelled. After long arduous efforts I managed to get a hold of their customer support who very kindly informed me they had no idea the return trip was cancelled! Later, their supervisor amended the statement, arguing that the cancellation was due to... bad weather. As I was gazing out to the pond like calmness of the sea laying before me I started to suspect I was being taken for a fool.

After a ping pong game and three months later, with the precious help of the Hellenic Consumer's Ombudsman, I managed to get a full refund. In good will, they also provided me with free tickets. I decided to.leave everything behind me and use the tickets this summer of 2017 for a similar city break to Aigina.

The return trip was scheduled to leave at 18:10. Around 18:00 a representative from Hellenic Seaways started telling people who were forming lines to board the ship which had yet to arrive that the trip was cancelled due to a mechanical error (note that this had been their official statement to the Ombudsman as well a year back, makes one question the durability of their ships).

We were offered the option of a refund and a promise for tickets for a different liner that was departing at... 18:15!

We rushed and trumped over others to get in line for those prized refunds and then again to purchase new tickets for the ship I am currently on. Frustrated, sunburnt and with no seat to speak of I feel completely let down once more and pray that the travellers who had trusted their return trip to Hellenic Seaways have all been lucky enough to be notified ahead of time since that does not feel like their strong suit.

To me, the most infuriating part was the fact that the company could have easily retrieved the personal details we had provided them with during the booking and sent us an email or even a text to let us know in time that the ship would not make it.

If I were to take this a step further I would even suspect the poor travellers of Agistri (it's straight across Aigina) who would also be influenced by this cancellation might still be out there gazing at the horizon expecting the last ship that will never come...

The ships of the company are well preserved. The staff very polite, helpful and excellent! The interiors of the high-speed boats are more enjoyable and smaller than its conventional ships. It is worth living in a cabin at night because it is clean and the beds are very good! VIP locations are very relaxing and relaxing. The financials are both good this year, but they are good too! The Mini Shop of Boats offer items for a trip and lots of toys for young children! Parking staff are very helpful to park your car or machine correctly and well. The elevator is small and does not fit people with disabilities who want to go upstairs to go quickly and unravel! They are also used by people who have no problem and climb up the lift because they do not want to climb the stairs. It's annoying for people with disabilities! However, the ships and the staff are very good and they gave me a perfect Manolis experience on board !!

There are absolutely no signs or guide as to WHERE to catch the flying dolphin on Aegina Island. I must leave a one star for this fact alone YOU ARE A TOURIST Company and you suck at catering to tourist who don't speak Greek. *update* just got on the flying dolphin xviii and it smells like burning tar. Are you guys venting the exhaust right into the passenger cabin to make us more docile due to the lack of on board diner or TV? (they have a tv but it is off) and holy hell this thing is loud it sounds like it is going to rattle apart at the seams. About 20 minutes in right now using a prepaid Sim card posting this review if I don't make it home and die of exhaust fumes tell my family I love them.

It is at least a shame to dryly mock prospective travelers with the travel times listed on your official website for the Saronic Gulf for Spetses line. On 18/11/2019 my wife traveled with Flying Dolphin XVII (I do not comment on the miserable condition of this submarine, with the smell of exhaust gas and the loud noises from the engine room in the passenger compartment). With a long boat (2 beauforts) all the way, the boat is supposed to be bound for Spetses at 19:15 with departure from Piraeus at 17:00. The reality; Because this route also reaches Ermioni, at 19:15 it was the same as the one bound at Ermioni and Spetses at 19:45, that is, 30 minutes later, and without any delay, these are just the actual timetables. But, of course, the owners of the company are deliberately cheating on ignorant travelers by writing on the official Spetses itinerary that is by no means valid. Again ashamed.

Unacceptable! First you sell an online ticket that you can not print and use but you have to pick up from the port. Then their unacceptable site chooses random places so they put the 4-year-old (I tick the ticket for a child under 5 years old!) Only one in a row and the parents old in 2 different rows so you can not sit with him. At the company's travel agency in Hydra, the employee is rude and unable to do anything as he claims, and the employee in the reception is equally rude and ironic. I'm trying to never travel again with such an unacceptable company with foolish staff and ticket software for a 10 year back and of course to tell it to anyone I know!

Boat ride of 8hrs detailed by almost 3 hrs in good weather. No excuses/explanations given. Missed connecting ferry... if you are going to charge 50+ EUR for a deck seat on and old boat at least be punctual...

Always always backlogs for the Argosaronic Islands and back. On the last route we closed with flyingcat3 from Spetses to Piraeus at 19:30. They got us a phone and they told us we would finally travel with flyingcat 6 at 20:10. The ship arrived at the harbor at 21:00. Beyond the (as always) delay the ship was very dirty. Poor seats, dirty carpets, torn garbage bins. And for all of this you pay for the route 38 euros (economy seat). You are the worst shipping company in Greece.

Holy Spirit, on the Skopelos - Volos route we traveled for 3 hours with the dolphin without air conditioner and above all without giving us a reasonable explanation except that "it has a lot of heat out". Obviously unacceptable company.
