The Crew that worked on Rosedale Drive in Spring Valley was very polite and courteous. They often had to escort my family out around the repairs. We appreciate their hard work and commitment to their job.

Early Monday morning we discovered the sound of running water, I placed a call to Helix Irrigation thinking something was wrong with our water meter.
What seemed like a short amount of time two very polite gentlemen arrived to evaluate our problem. Turns out the meter wasn t the problem but, these two employees discovered a pin hole leak in a irrigation copper pipe. My Son, was able to repair the leak and I
Cannot thank them enough for helping me.

Helix Water District: Ensuring Safe and Reliable Drinking Water for San Diego's East County Suburbs

Helix Water District is a public agency that provides safe, high-quality drinking water to over 277,000 people in the east county suburbs of San Diego. The district was established in 1889 and has since been committed to ensuring the safety, quality, and reliability of its water supply.

The Helix Water District serves an area of approximately 50 square miles that includes the cities of La Mesa, Lemon Grove, El Cajon, and parts of Spring Valley. The district operates two reservoirs - Lake Jennings and El Capitan Reservoir - which store water from the Colorado River and Northern California for use during dry periods.

One of Helix's primary goals is to ensure that its customers have access to clean drinking water at all times. To achieve this goal, the district employs a team of highly trained professionals who work tirelessly to monitor the quality of its water supply. They conduct regular tests on samples taken from various points throughout the distribution system to ensure that it meets or exceeds all state and federal standards.

In addition to providing safe drinking water, Helix also strives to promote conservation efforts among its customers. The district offers a variety of programs designed to help residents reduce their water usage while still maintaining healthy lawns and gardens. These programs include free landscape workshops, rebates for high-efficiency toilets and washing machines, as well as free irrigation evaluations.

Another important aspect of Helix's mission is ensuring reliable service delivery. To achieve this goal, the district has invested heavily in modernizing its infrastructure over recent years by replacing aging pipelines with new ones made from durable materials such as PVC or ductile iron pipes which are less prone to leaks or breaks.

Moreover,Helix has implemented advanced technologies such as Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems which allow operators at their control center monitor operations remotely in real-time thus enabling them detect any issues before they become major problems.

Helix also recognizes that transparency is key when it comes to building trust with customers; therefore they provide regular updates on their website about any changes or developments related not only about their services but also about upcoming projects like construction works etc., so residents can stay informed about what’s happening within their community regarding their drinking-water supply system.

In conclusion,Helix Water District plays an essential role in providing safe drinking-water supplies for San Diego's east county suburbs by ensuring quality control measures are met through rigorous testing procedures while promoting conservation efforts among residents through various programs aimed at reducing consumption levels without compromising on health standards.Furthermore, the investment made towards modernizing infrastructure coupled with advanced technologies like SCADA systems ensures reliable service delivery while transparency builds trust between them &their clients making them stand out amongst other providers within this region .
