I've worked here for 2 years now I love it we take really good care of the residents and we love to do so. We were actually just recognized by a company for practicing hand washing now we might get a handful of people that might not be good for the job but most of our employees stay with the company and does a really good job caring for the residents people come and go but everyone has to get a chance.
Highly HIGHLY recommend pop up/ random visits if you place your child or loved one here ..

Heinzerling is full of negativity. They will discriminate against you, and do not care about their employees at all. A lady name Jennifer is incredibly rude and will keep you off of work without pay for no reason. I wouldn t recommend. I ve never had this treatment at any other job.
My brother Jeffery Bowen has been a resident since Heinzerling took over the old residence. He is one of few oringal residents. He is very well taken care of, I'm kept up to date on all of his progress and set backs. He is a true Angel and I thank all the employees that have taken care of Jeffery since he has been there his entire life. I congratulate all of the staff from the bottom to the top. My love for my brother is like the love of my own children. He is my every heartbeat. I love you bubby.
I made the worst mistake of my life by placing my daughter in this facility. Something I still regret.
Last year, in May she got really sick. She got Sepsis, pneumonia, flu and other viruses that were spread by people NOT washing hands.
My 13 year old daughter barely made it.
She was in Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus on the 6 weeks. 4 weeks on the PICU floor.
She was on a ventilator, her lungs collapsed, her kidneys shutdown and she had to have dialysis due to her kidneys shutting down.
She went in taking just 3 medications. She got out taking 11!
Heinzerling doesn't train their employees properly. They just hire anyone. They don't have good hygiene. I never saw them wearing gloves. They went from resident to resident and they never washed their hands. I asked questions, I wanted to know how my daughter got so sick. They explained to me it was due to lack of cleanliness.
I immediately took her out and I just hope nobody has to die due to their negligence. These people don't care about their residents.
This company does not care about their employees and the patients suffer for it. They do not do things that the parent want done until the parents are coming in. The ratio is absolutely ridiculous when it comes to patients to DCAs.
My sister ( Summer Blessing) has been at Heinzerling sense she has been 5 yrs old. And she has been through alot. And I truly want to thank all the ppl that has taken care of Summer Blessing. Everyone has done a wonderful job with Summer. The only problem my family has had with Heinzerling is with the caseworker's not all of them just some. And it was bc they was treating the family like dirt. And I just didn't like their manner's towards us. Other then that Heinzerling has been a great place. Keep up the GREAT WORK U GUYS DO!!!
