Wonderful people, we had a great brunch and your. Excellent beach near hy too.
Outstanding location, the staff was phenomenal and unbelievably picturesque. I would say there's an undeniable amount of charm and history here. Would definitely book another event here in the future.
Very special place. Beautiful rooms, very welcoming hospitality! 6 course breakfast was amazing and they did a great job with glutenfree for us. The lighthouse at night is a "can't miss"!!!
My wife and I visited on our 1 year anniversary trip for a night. The stay was perfect! Lots to do and a great staff. If you visit make sure you go to the lighthouse at night as there's nothing like it - pictures can't do it justice. We also had a great time exploring the beach below. If you have the time definitely stay for a night
We slept in the Bed & Breakfest and it was amazingly beautiful. Authentically decorated with a 7 course breakfast just amazing. At night we went with flashlights (provided by the B & B) to the lighthouse.
Beautiful old light keepers house. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Breathtaking grounds and views. With easy access to the lighthouse and the beach.
Clean, comfortable, accommodating. Fantastic service. Highly recommend.
Always a pleasure. Best breakfast ever! The staff is wonderful. And the atmosphere is quaint and comfortable. Incredible views and history.
Went here 2 years back for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! The place is well kept and the staff is really helpful. Sitting on the porch at night and watching the waves crash up against the Cliffside is like nothing else! Highly recommended!
This was a great visit. Went up the trail to the light house keepers home and they offered a very informative free tour. The stories and history was great. Lots of old pictures, period furniture and antiques. It is well worth a stop.
We were there only for a tour but it is a very cool place, incredible views and looked to be very well managed. I think staying there would be incredible.
Delicious food and wonderful lodging. We spent several hours just enjoying the view from the porch. To top it off, the 7 course breakfast was outstanding!!
Most relaxing place on the coast. Great breakfast.
Smelly, dirty, stains, bugs. Breakfast was cold, and less than mediocre.
Beyond beautiful views, amazing historical home and lighthouse, it was magical to be in our room and watch the light sweeping around during the night, plus gourmet eight course breakfast in the morning!
The old house was an awesome place to spend a stormy Oregon weekend. The views of the ocean waves frothing and foaming as they beat against the rocks were just spectacular. The walk up to the lighthouse after dark was amazing as you could hear the waves roar as they were beating against the rocks. The light from the big Old light house illuminated the light keepers house, the trees and grounds as well as the distant ocean as it rotated. We felt warm and cozy in the house as the wind and rain spattered on the windows. The beds were comfortable and we slept so well listening to the ocean below. The staff was very friendly and made every attempt to make us at home. BUT, the seven course gourmet breakfast made the stay the most memorable of all. We enjoyed meeting our other house guests and making new friends over breakfast.
My wife and I spent a couple of days here in August, and we really enjoyed it. The food and general hospitality were excellent. The room (Victoria) was great. There's a path up to the lighthouse and down to the beach. There are also nearby towns with restaurants and attractions.
My husband and I stayed at the light house on the evening of 3/16 and had an extraordinary time. From the tour upon check in, to the wine and cheese social (note you are allowed more than one glass so don't be bashful), to the 7 course breakfast and history tour the following morning, everything was an absolute dream. It was our first experience with a Bed & Breakfast and we weren't sure what to anticipate. The staff was incredible thoughtful and welcoming. The historic house and the amazing location (easy access to hikes, beach, and about mid-way to Yachats and Florence) was truly incredible. All I can say is we wish we had more time to explore!
The caretakers are very loving and make you feel at home. The food was spectacular!
Loved our stay! Rich in history, friendly hosts, FABULOUS 7-course breakfast, cozy lodging.... The night time hike to the lighthouse is a MUST.
Wonderful bed and breakfast in fantastic nature. Excellent and unique breakfast.
Beautiful! A couple there told us the house is haunted, wish we could have stayed!
My husband and I stayed at Heceta Head Lighthouse Bed & Breakfast for my husband's birthday and it was amazing. The rooms were spectacular. The views breathtaking. The next morning we had a 7 course "brunch". We will do it again and again. This is our "special place" now. Just amazing. I love it. :)
Visited for my cousin's wedding. Beautiful location that was well-catered and wonderful. Had a great day.
It was beautiful, relaxing, and fun. The services were as advertised.
Couldn't enter inside , did have brochure outside by gate but no prices included . Gift shop closes at 3pm. Didn't have opportunity to go inside . Very beautiful place and many beautiful views of the ocean along the trail up to the lighthouse .
We had an amazing stay with the B&B, very friendly staff and obviously amazing views and setting. Go up to the lighthouse in the dark for a memorable unique view. House is very cute and the breakfast is an amazing exoerience. We saw whales in the bay in the morning as well and you can't miss the sea lions.
Everyone is so nice there, the ocean view is great, and the breakfast is amazing. I would definitely recommend and go back again.
We just spent our seventh, yearly anniversary trip here. It is always so wonderful. The staff is incredibly friendly, the rooms are meticulously cleaned, and the included breakfast is always such a treat. The view on a clear day is to die for! Worth the $$$, we will never tire of this wonderful place.
Excellent bed and breakfast. Great five course meal with unique and tasty dishes. The hike down to beach provides a great way to spend 10 minutes. The beach is small, but is a nice little cove.
Visited the house and received the tour. Nice place.
Beautiful and very comfortable. Michelle and Anthony have a knack for hospitality. They have a way of making everyone feel welcome. I highly recommend their B&B for anyone looking to get away from it all.
WOW, a unique and luxurious experience. the breakfast is another WOW>
Was treated very rudely by the manager and owner of this establishment. Would not recommend being as the manager and the owner really dont have a shred of respect for you or your life. They have an entitled attitude and seem to think they are better then everyone else because they own or manage this property. Would recommend you book an event elsewhere due to lack of consideration and respect. Also the grounds around this property arent very well manicured or cared for at all.
We got Married and stayed here and the entire experience was fantastic! I enjoyed every moment of it! Great place to stay, great experience, and outstanding staff! Misty was most excellent to deal with and very friendly and knowledgeable! Can't wait to go back for many anniversaries to come!
Beautiful views, and lighthouse; got to see glimpses of migrating whales. Loved it!
Lovely experience from beginning to end. Wonderfully inviting and delightful food!
Great place for a romantic getaway.
The rooms are clean and the place is quiet. Many places to sit with a good book and enjoy the sounds of the shore.
Quick access to paths for a short walk to the lighthouse or the beach below.
The breakfast is amazing, a 7 course meal. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Heceta Head Lighthouse Bed & Breakfast is an idyllic place to stay. We were met by Lorraine who welcomed us and showed us around. Our room, Victoria's Room, is a comfortable size and has a bed reminiscent of John Denver's Grandma's feather bed - though not as large, it's certainly high and "soft as a downy chick!" We enjoyed having an en suite bathroom, though it is small. The water pressure in the shower is a wonderful wake up. Breakfast is a delightful 7-course event! Jennifer presents each course with a flair, explaining each one. The portions we're plentiful, but not so much that one feels overstuffed. We thoroughly enjoyed having a "guest kitchen" so as to be able to prepare our own meals and store groceries. It was nice to be able to pick up a few things from the store & then eat dinner on the porch watching the tide roll in. Plenty of space is available to retreat to a private area or chat with other guests, play a game or read a book. This is a very comfortable and homey inn where you can kick off your shoes and be yourself! Treat yourself or a loved one to a few nights here and relax.
Very nice facility, wish it was open to the public more of the time.
Beautiful view and a great state park guide was at the lighthouse.
Stunning location, fantastic ambiance, brilliant breakfast. Very romantic & the best place for a special occasion.
Do yourself a favor and stay at the BnB. Its amazing and breakfast is an experience you won't forget
We waited for a half hour for the next tour and the lady came out and said she had to go to lunch and would be back in a half hour. Not worth it.
Magical... The wind, the waves, the distant barking of Stellar Sea Lions, the sweep of the light... Magical.
Great place to celebrate an anniversary, or another special event or just escape from the city for a weekend. The breakfast is amazing.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The 7 course breakfast was delicious and not hurried at all... must have taken us 2 hours to eat. A wonderful setting to enjoy the ocean, sunset and lighthouse.
A great experience on the Oregon Coast. My wife and I stayed one night as part of an anniversary get away. Fun to meet the travelers from far away, enjoy the wonderful breakfast, and be on one of the most beautiful spots on the coast. Friendly staff. Thanks.
Was closed when i went but the view wasnt to bad just half way up
Wonderful! My husband and I stayed in the Cape Cove room. It was lovely, but the real star was breakfast and the company we shared it with. We'll definitely be back!
Amazing! One of the coolest places to stay. Highly recommended. Breakfast was fantastic.
A nice looking light house. The view around is great.
Had great stay in very clean accommodations and great history learned in fun way, breakfast so special the chef works hard to please all request, will do again and recommend to all and remember is away to help preserve the history for the next generations ..
A once in a lifetime experience to stay in a lighthouse keeper's home. The views are amazing and the breakfast was incredible.
Great place with a fun history. The people that run this place also run Ona, a restaurant down the road. The food was delicious.
A MUST if traveling the PCH - the B&B has beautiful rooms and the breakfast is unbelievable. The views? OH. MY!!!! If your dream is to spend a night at a working lighthouse this is the place for you.
My best friend and I stayed at the Heceta Head Lighthouse B&B for 2 nights in September. Mariners Room 2, with a spectacular view of the ocean. We kept the windows open day and night (since it was sunny until the morning we checked out) just to hear the sound of the waves. I would definitely recommend Mariners Room 1 or 2, just for this connection to the sea. The breakfasts at the B&B are amazing! All guests sit family style at the dining room table, talking and enjoying seven small and delicious courses. It goes on from 8:30 until about 10:00 AM and was a highlight of our stay. I can't speak highly enough of this restful inn. It's a short walk to the Heceta Head Lighthouse, which is both a fascinating piece of history and still active today, warning night fishermen and other boats they are near a rocky shore.
What a gem of a place! We stayed in the Mariner 1 room which had a panoramic view of the ocean and hillside. The staff was genuine and friendly and let us feel right at home. Some of the highlights for us was catching the sunset down by the beach and doing a night walk up to the Lighthouse.
We recently had our wedding ceremony at the bed and breakfast and help our reception dinner at Ona. I cannot even express how perfect everything was. Misty was incredible through stressful moments. I have received so many compliments on our photos. If you are looking for a magical place this is it!!!
We had amazing time at Heceta Head Lighthouse and Bed and Breakfast the hosts were very friendly enjoyed the cheese and wine and breakfast up in the rooms and had amazing experience with Rue had her name on the window with the room we was staying in. Will be back for a later stay well recommended nice and relaxing make sure to go view lighthouse at night it was amazing views.
A wonderful place to stay. The staff were friendly, the rooms were very clean. We chose to have our own bathroom. You actually had a view of the light house while siting in the tub. They had a wine tasting in the evening where you could meet and visit with other guests if you chose to. The seven course breakfast the next morning was not only delicious, with locally sourced food, it was a great experience. There were various hiking trails that went up and over the Head connecting with the Hobbit trail which led down to Hobbit beach. Other attractions are within close driving distance too. Thor.s well, the Big Spruce, Sea Lion Caves. This is one of the best bed and breakfast's in the state.
Sharing our 30th anniversary together and having a wonderful time. The lighthouse is just beautiful!
Fantastic stay! They've done a wonderful job decorating and maintaining the beautiful lighthouse Keeper's House. The staff was fantastic, very welcoming, the seven-course breakfast was delicious and fun. The views are fantastic! Highly recommended!
A must stop and stay. The 7 course breakfast is so good.
I photographed a wedding at Heceta Head Lighthouse B & B last summer and it was an absolute dream. The bride and groom stayed there the night before and were able to get ready in their beautiful guest rooms. There was a small ceremony out front and it was set up perfectly! The luncheon was so sweet and easy and their staff did such a great job of making sure everything happened on time and was super neat and clean!! I would absolutely come back to shoot another wedding or even stay here as a guest. Loved it so much.
Beautiful location at the foot of the lighthouse. Captivating views of the ocean encased in a piece of history.
Nice tour although limited by guests renting parts of the house. The guide was very enthusiastic, and willing to elaborate on all sorts of things that people would ask about.
Beautiful historic light keepers house. Rooms and facilities to rent.
Tour guide, however talked 30 minutes past the tour with previous guests and we didn't get to tour the interior. We have up and went home
A few weeks ago my wife and I stayed at the BnB. We arrived in the evening to this magnificent house. We were greeted by Dan who gave us a tour of the property. Any question we asked Dan was answered regarding the inn. We ended staying in the Mariner II suite that had a breath taking view of the beach and ocean below. I stood near the window for about 10 minutes just soaking up this grand gesture from God. Later that night my wife and took a walk to the beach. Afterwards we decided to walk to the "star attraction" of the BNB. We arrived at the lighthouse and it was amazing to say the least.
The following morning we woke up to the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach below. Soon after that the breakfast bell rang out. We were at the table with two other couples which turned into some great conversations over a spectacular 7 course breakfast. The salmon mousse with the sausage was delicious. The rest of the courses were outstanding as well.
To sum up our stay at this BNB, I give this one 5 gold stars. The owners and staff members of the Heceta BNB have done a wonderful job. Keep up the good work!
