Another amazing day out at the heavy horse farm we have been several times now and enjoy it so much the owners are such lovely people and the staff are so friendly and helpful having a 13 year old son with autism and an 11 year old it's one of the few places I feel relaxed enough to be able to sit and enjoy a coffee and know that there safe and fully entertained I would recommend the heavy horse farm to anyone of all ages

Absolutely lovely place. Real family feel to it and they clearly love the horses. My daughter and I loved it. Educational hands on fun. The owner is an eccentric but he s great. Can t wait for our next trip there.

We came here today to have one of the first family outings we ve been able to have since the lowering of the Covid rules.

Brought our granddaughter and her parents and have to say that all the staff were wonderful and really went the extra mile even with the extra restrictions they have to follow.

Had a great day and the horses, ponies, goats and other animals were really well taken care of, the grounds and facilities were spotlessly clean and very pretty.

Had an amazing day at the Heavy Horses. The talks for adults are fantastic and plenty to do for kids even in these weird covid times. Cafe is amazing and better than a lot of the "restaurants" we've eaten at in the new forest. Animals look really well looked after.

This place is AMAZING they have so many heavy horses and lots of Shetlands too not to mention all the donkeys, goats, turkeys, chickens and pigs. Lots of amazing breeds and tonnes of things to do, including tractor driving and a mini go-karting area (which my partner and I took great pleasure in whizzing around!! Both adults..)

It is nestled among beautiful hilly scenery and I can imagine how stunning it is on a sunny day, it was rainy and windy when we went but we enjoyed it loads anyways!

11/10 would recommend!

Loved our time here, we're so greatful to be able to get out again as a family and couldn't have asked for a better day. We all have experience in the horse industry but we learned so much about the horses and their importance throughout history.
Kids loved the atmosphere and grownups loved the go-kart area too!

Lovely place to spend the day, my daughters absolutely loved it. So many activities to keep them occupied. Every staff member we came into contact with was friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be returning.

This is a fantastic place and definitely worth a visit. There is plenty to do and the talks and demonstrations by the owner are absolutely brilliant and so funny. All of our party thoroughly enjoyed themselves and want to go again. The staff are all really lovely and helpful. They didn't seem to stop all day - providing activity after activity to keep the guests happy.

So great for kids. We had a fantastic day. Thanks to all the staff. They were amazing with the kids.

Not usually something I'd go to but I thoroughly enjoyed it after the decision to go whilst on a break on the south coast.

Even with the restrictions in place there was plenty to see, do and learn.....which I definitely did!
The trenches exhibit and the educational talks were excellent.

There were around half a dozen staff working and they were brilliant, smiling, chatting and seemed to be working none stop!

Absolutely well worth a visit and help support the team here.
