"Don't do anything that will land you in the ER right now!" is what everyone has been saying, and of course I badly sprained my ankle and wasn't sure if it was broken or not, so made my way to this ER. It was busy busy and the staff was INCREDIBLE. The wait was minimal, I was able to be seen quickly, and the nurses were so kind, attentive, and helpful even though they were taking care of so many people at once. I'm so thankful for them, and how great they were with me.

Appointment was easy-peasy, and super-quick. I was seen shortly after arriving. Staff was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Scan took no time at all. Overall, it was a great experience. The only downside was parking, so allocate plenty of time to find a spot. The lot out front was completely full and the parking garage only had spots available at the very top in the full sun. No biggie though. :)

My experience wit the Heart Hospital of Austin was excellent from the time we walked in the front door until we departed. The check-in process was quick and easy. We only waited a few minutes in the lobby before being escorted to our room. All prep was timely and handled professionally. When delays were encountered, the staff kept us informed regularly. During the procedure, the doctor and technicians answered my questions and kept me abreast of the next steps and the results. Our experience couldn't have gone more smoothly.

Somewhat biased as I am the Past Physician President of Austin Heart , the cardiology group that works here. I am often asked by family snd friends for referrals and they all go here, or Heart Hospital of Round Rock. Members of my immediate family including myself have all been patients. This is a physician built hospital and the culture is that this is the place where the physicians themselves get care . The ER is a bit of a well known secret. They are a heart hospital but the ER is full service and many people have figured out if you are in need of different ER care (stitches let s say) even if not a heart problem it s a great place .
I can attest to the majority of the physicians personally, the competition to work in Austin is steep for any doctor (good for us) but especially so at the Heart Hospital. The staff are critical at any facility, no matter the physicians. They are fantastic at the Heart Hospital.

I couldn't be more pleased with the care I received the afternoon I ended up at the ER. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly, and throughout the entire stay. The nurses and doctors were very attentive and extremely caring. Needed tests were run and I was released as quickly as possible after determining that it was safe to go home. I would highly recommend this hospital.
