My experience with Heart Based Bookkeeping was awful. Jessica did not honor our agreement and refused to provide proof of work done. She never sent month-end closings as were obligated. I've spent close to $6k at this point to bring my books up to date after 7 months of incomplete work from Jessica. Her response to my queries and complaints was to say she had done the work (with no evidence whatsoever) and would not respond to me anymore.

I think she is a probably nice person who got in over her head with my bookkeeping needs and doesn't know how to admit mistakes, although we had spent close to a year talking about those needs before actually beginning to work together.
