Health & Sports Club Valkencourt Review

Looks nice, good to stay, lots to do, but .... so very expensive. 59 per month! Well, it really isn't worth it

Beautiful facility, with friendly staff, service and competent trainers. You get really way more value than you pay for!

Menno, Pim and Tom you are toppers. Almost all other staff are customer-unfriendly and the service is very bad.

Very bad staff also it is very expensive not to recommend!

I've been coming here three times a week for about five years now. It's great with both fitness and relaxation options. Good guidance and personal despite the many members. By relaxation I mean sauna, Turkish bath, etc. These last options, including swimming, are included in the subscription. There are all kinds of options for a discount on the subscription price. These can be sports at less busy times or membership of KBO.

I have been a member for a number of years but I advise against exercising here.

Basically very good club. Strange rules for kids - not allowed in any sauna before age of 12 even with parents. Read careful the contract. Its seems not really expensive, but you also pay club credit 100 (which I did not ask for, can back it when you quit membership), some service costs also about 100 per year. And when after 52 weeks I wanted to stop - not possible, need to pay for 4 weeks since day when you feel form! And they tried to charge service costs again after 10,5 months of membership, so previous was still valid.

Yesterday we wrote a message on facebook. However, Valkencourt has been free to remove our message by return. This is only because we have been critical of whether or not to pay contributions during the corona crisis. As an entrepreneur you cannot hide behind your sector organization. Say hello ...... an entrepreneur is a risk bearer himself and can of course never pass this on to his members. I would not even be surprised if people have now also applied for state aid. Crazy for words, including deleting messages on Facebook. I am free to have this tested legally. To be continued. All in all, it is no wonder that everyone on Facebook is so positive about this club when critical comments are removed. This is also diametrically opposed to the experience within the walls of this sports club. Employees are also top.

Great gym and nice staff! I have almost all gyms playing sport, but Health and Sports Club Falcon Court is quite simply the best. Health 1.

Because I initially had doubts about whether I could (due to circumstances) be able to go out for sports every week, I asked orally and several times explicitly whether the contract could be canceled per month.
At the time, Valkencourt indicated that this was possible! Based on oral information, I signed the contract in good faith.
Now it appears that I have nevertheless signed a contract for which I have been held for at least 26 weeks and that the cancellation period therefore only applies after that period. When I wanted to cancel my contract, supplemented with the above context, I still had to pay the full pound. Personally, I find this very customer-friendly and very easy for a company to hide behind the procedures. I have never experienced this at a company. Fitlife in Budel is much more customer-oriented.
I realize that it is my responsibility to go through a contract well, but I certainly expected some flexibility.
