Who knew there is a Japanese garden in Hayward?? I sure didn't but I'm glad I found it! It is really peaceful here. You can walk to the pond where there is large coy fish and turtles. There is a gazebo with benches which is a great spot to sit and meditate or bring a book and read. I felt safe here as the location was in a good spot. It wasn't crowded the day I came. The only negative about this place is that they use to close the garden on weekends which many people only have time to visit something like this on a weekend. I don't know if they changed this policy.

It's more like a minus 5...they take horrible care of their animals...the employees that run the barn are pathetic in the way they care for or don't care for those animals....its extremely sad....
