Haynes Academy for Advanced Studies Review

All teachers a nice except for one new 7th grade science teacher... hint hint. She talks in all caps a lot and is mean although, she can be funny... or at least tries to be. I feel like she could be a really nice person but not a really nice teacher. By the way, Mrs. Berry, Ms. Weaver, and Ms. Wooldrige are the BEST TEACERS EVER! They are so nice and understanding, and I don t get enxioty in their classes. I feel comfortable and when I don t understand something they will explain it... and not in all caps! Overall Haynes is an amazing school and I love it so much but, the air conditioning is always broken and is so hot sometimes!

If you want your child having a great education, then Haynes is a great school for you to enroll your child in, but if your child wants more of a high school experience, then Haynes isnt really the best school to go to. Haynes has great teachers and a great education system.

My older sister went to this school for three years and she loved the school with all of her heart. I was going to be at this school until I moved out of the country. I feel heartbroken that I cannot experience this amazing school.

The teachers at the school sang and danced too much and it was scary! One of the teachers almost jangled!

Awesome!! I go to school here and I has been the best experience of my life!

Rebuttal to the 2 star review from 4 years ago: Ms. Jodi is no longer there and I don't recall Mrs. Gamble being fired. In any case, she's here now.

If your child has taken advanced classes their whole lives, they will be fine, otherwise, unless they put hours and hours of time into studying, your child WILL struggle. The teachers do not know how to help students to do not fully understand concepts and simply put the responsibility into parents' busy hands, or tell your children that they should learn from the homework that they don't understand. This review is taken from multiple experiences with this school, and most of the other ones attempt to suger-coat the truth because they're students that like the teachers in a friendly manner. Everything else is only okay or rather mediocre.

Best middle and high school of Jefferson Parish School District . Lots of Seniors went to ivy league college like Harvard, Yale ,University of Pennsylvania and Dartmouth. If you want your kids be successful in the future then this is the best place to start with.
