So, I've been going to hawkers locker for a while ...
So, I've been going to hawkers locker for a while now. And for some reason no one answers the phone, and the business hours are listed on Google and it says they are open but, I literally just went to the store, and the gates are closed and no one is there. This has happened multiple times now.. I understand sometimes not being able to open due to different personal reasons. Especially since it's a small business... But this has happened more than 5 different occasions now. I don't want to get anyone in trouble.. But I will not be going to hawkers locker anymore simply because I never known when they'll be open.
Could you imagine getting a loan for something, and then showing up one day to pick it up and pay it off and they're closed? What happens if it's the last day of the loan? Do you get an extra day for the place being closed?
Anyway.. I hope this changes... I used to love coming to this place.
EDIT: I very much believe that Hawkers locker is a good place of business in general.. I have read the response from the owners of Hawkers Locker, and look forward to the great changes.
But this does not change my experience. I fail to understand how knowing my personal identity would resolve anything. What happened, happened. Knowing who I am could draw unwanted attention. Potential Calls from employees that look up my name and information, maybe being treated differently if I come in again, after posting a less-than-stellar review. These are things I'd like to avoid. My review had the exact effect I wanted it to.. It enacted change to a business that I am a patron of, and enjoy.
That being said, if you own a business, and are on Google, it is important to update your Google business page with the correct business hours as to avoid confusion and potential bad reviews. (WHICH THERE ARE MANY, that mirror my own experience).
The hours I tried to visit hawkers locker were varied.. 11am, 1pm, 3pm and just before closing twice. They were closed at all of those times. I also called at all different business hours. This wasn't a mistake on my part. And I stand by that.
