Came here for the Hawaii Fest on January 26, 2019. Venue was okay. Music was loud for an indoor space. Bathroom lines were LONG.
options were pretty good. Probably tasted a dozen from local to mainland brewers. Great way to sample the different brewers.
Food options from the outside vendors was excellent. Had choice of a lot of great food: Thai, Korean short ribs, sliders, BBQ, poki. Chose the Thai Chicken Curry.
Big facility with a great deal of room and breakout areas. Parking was ok, depending on directions you might find yourself passing by. Clean and modern was the feel inside. Lots of open air areas, nice for fresh air, can be hot when going from AC rooms to tropical heat. Some artwork is worth the walk to see. Lots of bathroom space too.
Good layout, lots of parking, open air throughout and an open rooftop reception area. Staff were helpful for setting up booths and presentation sessions.
Went to a convention here and the staff were very friendly. The facilities were well kept. The open air design is cool and the views from the various floors looking out on the city and landscape are great.
The facilities are well kept and the staff are very helpful and accommodating. If you cater through them, the food is quite good. Coffee is great and so are their cookies. Ample parking and spa was well.
We are here for the Honolulu Marathon and this place is huge. Well organized and helpful staff all around.
In 1994, my Uncle had moved his family to Hawaii to help build and start the construction of the Hawaii Convention Center. It was completed in 1997 and it was opened in 1998.
In 2003, I Finally got the opportunity to visit the Hawaii convention center for the very 1st time and I was so overwhelmed and overjoyed with the knowledge that I had that someone in my family had actually help to build and construct this beautiful and large convention center.
After that I have been here several different times for several different occasion's for different events different seminars, different meetings, activities, I mean this place is multi cultural it's cute, it's big, it's the perfect place to have a major convention like a seminar or even a wedding beautiful.
This is a fantastic place for a function or event. Open air, and wide spaces are features of the Convention Center. The meeting rooms, auditoriums and halls are all nicely air-conditioned and comfortable. I also highly recommend the views from the roof top and the roof-top space in general as an evening place to host a function.
Attended a regional event here! Great and spacious rooms for big crowd with smaller function rooms if needed. Walking distance from restaurants and Ala Moana Mall. Nice view outside the Convention Center.
