Visited the Chocolate Lounge at Harvey Nichols, staff member was very polite and helpful and food platter was very good .

Afternoon tea was lovely. Selection of savoury and sweet food was delicious and something a bit different from sandwiches. Unlimited teas and coffees. Service was outstanding, very professional and attentive. Views from the rooftop are of course a huge plus for this venue too.

I ate rump steak medium rare with herb butter, watercress & side portion of chunky chips. The steak was cooked just right, juicy and tender, great tasting with the herb butter so I definitely recommend over peppercorn sauce. Size was proportional to most restaurant's, not too much but not to little. The chips were really nice and crispy, good quality. Service was lovely, and great view of the square with the sun shining through the half-blinded windows, you can even see Edinburgh castle.

Booked a table to celebrate my sons 30th birthday. I dont understand why when booking they ask if it is a special occasion, then do nothing to mark this, not even a happy birthday. My son chose to go out for a special meal for his birthday. He had steak, which looked good but pretty average in flavour. The food was fine, though nothing special. I do however object to the "discretionary service charge", I prefer to decide the amount I will tip. Thought the least they would have done was piped "Happy Birthday" in chocolate or something on his dessert plate, but no acknowledgement whatsoever. Definitely lacking in personal touch

Great afternoon had by all. Thoroughly enjoyed the drinks, hospitality and views.

Nice enough gastropub style food in the brasserie, quite expensive though. Service was ok, waitress forgot to bring a second glass of wine we ordered, but we weren't charged. Ask for a window seat if there are any spare - you get great views over St. Andrews Square.

Went here, with our family for my wife's birthday, glad we did. Friendly staff, top, top food, could not fault it. Really enjoyed our night. Thank you all.
