Personal approach to banking. I always get someone on the phone within a matter of minutes if not sooner. Great customer service. Could benefit from expanding their ATM network as well as enabling international money transfers without coming into a branch.
My service today was truly excellent today. A customer service rep helped me reverse some INSF fees on my account and during a pandemic and one of the most stressful times of the year, I can't tell you how much it means to me. I didn't have to make up excuses or explain, I was able to just say, damn. I need help. He made it simple and easy and took care of me. Thank you, HUECU. I appreciate you aligning your actions with your principles.
There is a reason that I moved my accounts here and stayed: they are great! Bed dissing them for all my banking needs for twenty years, including loans and mortgages. My son's have their accounts there.

Their advertise the shared branching co-op logo but charge $2.50 at the ATM. Dishonest to steal from shared branching members, I was robbed $2.50 from this co-op location beware!
This bank has been nothing but trouble since I payed off my vehicle loan. Lured me in with great loan rates and then have hit me with fees at. every. possible. juncture.
You want to turn off overdraft protection? Well we have here in our records your request this back in 18 but nothing happend
My interactions with this bank have been nothing but frustrating. And finally, the icing on the cake came this weekend when they went offline for 4 days....4 days!....so some upgrade that did absolutely nothing to get them on par with any other bank operating in the modern era. I m just done with them.
Poor advice and service. I moved out of state leaving a large sum of money in my account, and later withdrew most of it to purchase a home. I was not informed of a minimum balance requirement at that time. I left a nice sum in savings for a rainy day, but now they've taken fees to the point of having nothing left, and have turned the remainder of my money over to the state treasurer saying I abandoned my account. (after they failed to update my mailing address and they stopped sending statements). Very disappointed, to say the least. Lost almost $500 due to their poor service, but it works out in their favor, so why would they care?
