Charming, atmospheric and cute hotel with lots of character. Great location, clean, nice breakfast. Because it's a very old building, there is no sound insulation so it gets very noisy when the hotel is busy. The room I stayed in was cute though it looked a bit shabby. It would be good to freshen up the place a bit. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I would come back in off season, when it's more quiet.

Hotel with shells, nice and relatively large rooms, old style but seems renovated, good breakfast and wonderful beds. The hotel is extremely listening.

Alright. It is an old to cozy house, but it is fresh and well-kept which is important! Even comfortable beds. The breakfast is also good and is served early which is also a plus! Are there any minus and it is bad with power outlets, bring grendosa if you want to charge the phone, watch tv and have the element on ... Standing on the website that there would be DVD in all rooms, it is not ... Only svt1, 2, tv4 & tv6 in the rooms.

Central hotel. Walking distance to the ice hockey hall. The hotel itself is unattended in the evening, but late check-in is arranged in the associated pub. Older building. Very small rooms. Private bathroom with simple standard. Free wifi. Simple but decent breakfast. Short walk to shops and ATM.

Cozy hotel with an old-fashioned style. Super nice beds and if you are lucky you get a room with a great view. The breakfast was superb and the staff friendly. Clean and tidy and reasonable prices. Recommended.

Poorly staffed hotel. The bar / reception closed at about 4 pm on a weekend and the service was not good, can't recommend this hotel!

Don't take a room to the square. The retailers are starting to rig up their tables already at 05.15 with sludges and fumes.

Disgusting, irresponsible and immoral to rent to fascists. Money certainly smells! They stink!

Cozy room, however, lacks love and soul with cords hanging from the TV and small holes in the ceiling from previous lamps. In the ceiling light in the bathroom, it ran around two-tailed deer, the fan was very dusty and 4 out of 7 lamps were broken on the ceiling light in the room. On most occasions when we walked past the reception it was empty. It felt more like a guest house than a hotel.

Nice old hotel. Charming room. Sad breakfast. Unmanned in the evening which I think is insecure.

A disaster. Grand perhaps years ago. Worn out. Hot. Uncomfortable. Buffet breakfast with things always empty. No control from the staff what to fill. Several guests including myself asking for different things to fill up on the table. Simple things like juice, scrambled egg, yoghurt, pancake dough. Bacon dripping in fat. Catch it with the tongues supplied nd hang the soggy things until the fat stops dripping off.

What a charming hotel in the center of Lysekil. Different hotel with a bit of a home feeling.
Each room has its own decor.
Very nice welcome.
We were not many guests in December but they had arranged good breakfast anyway.

Fantastic location right in the center, great breakfast. The rooms are as they are, but it is an old building so it is charming instead of a new one. Parking was a bit of a job to get as the hotel does not have any of its own. The wine bar was very good and opened at 15:00, so there must be something special that made it close at 16:00 as someone wrote.

A little worn but extremely charming. Clean and fresh. Great food and friendly staff.

Needs to be cancelled 48 hours before arrival, otherwise they charge the whole stay!!!

Old hotel that is probably under renovation. "GRAND HOTEL" is perhaps a slightly pompous name but it is nicely located and in Lysekil it is perhaps the largest hotel (?).
One point is that most things are at a convenient distance from the hotel.
There is a Stekahouse in the basement of the same house that served excellent food.
The house is well over 100 years old, so if you like the rustic environment as it means, you have come to the right place.
Friendly staff and good breakfast.
The prices are perfectly OK.
Parking nearby was fine.
That it became four stars instead of five is just because the environment etc. does not exactly correspond to the mammoth name :). But the hotel is still well worth a visit, most likely we will return!

Expensive, small room and not very accommodating staff. Good breakfast lifts up to a second.

Great and well kept older hotel in the middle of Lysekil. With super friendly staff, good rooms and an outstanding breakfast. Great bar / restaurant in a nice retro environment.

Review is for the restaurant "Antu" in the hotel cellar. We had a mix of South American dishes. Everyone was pleased with their dish. I had the ceviche, which was very good. The serving was small, so the server offered me seconds free of charge, without me having to ask for it.

Extremely nice and service oriented staff. Great massage.
