Harrahs Resort & Casino Review

Ate at the buffet and it was by far the worst meal out I've ever had. The room looked nice but upon closer inspection was filthy. The pool is freezing and overcrowded. Pro, the bed and linens are super comfy.

Poker room was nice, but was barely spreading a full table of 1-3NL. Rake is high

Not like Vegas. Check in slow-should have KIOSK-s.Tried to get a room with more than enough rewards points (3X pts) & just got frustated with them.
On another previous date i had bookef a room with them. Upon our arrival they had shut down the power for a fire watch. They provided generator power for the casino, but none for the rooms, no tv, lights, ice machine.Went to Valley Center casino who had power.
A simple text would have been a nice "heads up" No one at this Harrahs ever attempted to make things right. Not like Vegas.

Awesome getaway for a 2day. Pool, lazy river and poolside service tough to beat. Room was spacious and amenities comfortable. Wide variety of restaurants

It is very clean and simply. The service is like that. I like the most food.

Great Burgers at Smashburger, Buffet is great and the Sandwich place has great wraps ,salads and soups. Great bands and music. The newest slots , clean environment, staff is always cleaning , serving and there to assist customers. Harrah"s is a fun mini weekend vacation or a fun day trip. Free buses to Harrah's for a 5 hour fun packed afternoon.

Hadn't been there in a while it was nice to go back they are always Pleasant and I always have fun

I recently stayed in Carlsbad California and decided to drive to Harrah's Casino. The drive down a two-lane road in the mountains is nice. The gaming floor is relatively large offering a number of slot machines and table games they do have a number of dining options we checked out the Earl of sandwich while we were there it was pretty good.

I stayed at Harrah's with some of my girlfriends for a weekend getaway last year and when I checked into the room there was feces smeared on the toilet seat. I spoke with the concierge and they told me that they would take care of it. For the inconvenience I was offered one nights stay for free and a $100 to spend on the casino, restaurants etc. I was told I had up to a year to use it. I called left messages and emails to make my reservations and never heard from anyone. I will not recommend them to my friends or family.

Love being at Harraha's would have to an a 5 but was given wrong info that the pool was closed due to renovation. It wasn't closed the bar area was and the pool was open. Miss information.

The cigarette smoke was overpowering. The buffet was great!

Clean up to date facilities and rooms with good service and large casino for the area.

Location and room were good. It was a complimentary stay, so can't really complain. The cantina restaurant had some good Mexican food and good customer service.

Too crowded on weekends but weekdays R good can eat & play with no waiting

Needs more cigar selections. I say get Perdomo, My Father's Cigars and Padron. The buffet is forgettable. Love that there's Starbucks and Pinks.

Not every good. It started tues. 12/11. Thank heavens I'm not a guest. Anna had a 2 day stay at the hotel. I came to help with her sister who elderly. She got lost at Harrah's inside. So l went over to security for help / information. 3 or 4 security were standing together over by high rollers. There comment to me was haven't seen nobody keep looking. Maybe 20 minutes went by before l found here. Finally a security guard got up to me while l was calling 911. Then later on l got some hot chocolate at Starbucks which was cold. Housekeeping was great. Checking out 12/13. I needed some water. Ling helped me get some water.

This place is pretty cool. The slots are fairly loose, the rooms are nice and clean. The only negative about this place is that it is out in the middle of nowhere. Other than that , it's a nice little casino !!

Had a great weekend .Close enough to home but far enough to feel like your on a mini get away .

I went for Haunted Harrahs and I had a blast, everyone was nice and the place looked amazing.

Funner is there. David Hassalhoff. Spelling. Good food.

I love Harrahs! It's a place I feel comfortable! The crowd is mixed demographic all ages and walks of life and I appreciate that!

We love visiting Harah s Resort So.Cal. The place is beautiful island and out. We played slots and always stop by the buffet. The food was amazing, the variety of food that they have yum

Difficult to get to. Buffet was usually good but my last visit was a bit disappointing. Food seemed stale, especially the dessert. Ovetall still ok thou.

Nice. Casino tough tough to win. Pool very crowded. Need to get down early to get chairs and tubes for the lazy river. Only one place open at night late to eat

Stayed for the weekend for a bachelorette party. The cabana and day bed were nice and clean. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect. Only complaint was the music... not a very good assortment and the volume was very low. The room was also nice and clean. I looooove the shower and the water pressure.

Enjoyable location, nestled in a valley surrounded by open hills and open sky. Small casino, with non-smoking area in a back corner...bring a jacket, the AC is kicked up in that area. Nice food options. Tables and machines are available. Rooms are clean and updated. Adult pool area is great. Lazy river area is nice, but packed with kids. Newly designed health spa offers massages, nail & hair care and saunas. A real treat.

Pros: Beautiful place, friendly staff Cons: Tight slots, Rita's Cantina food is 3.5 stars

Very nice casino with great selection of slots, tables, bars, restaurants, and the hotel was very nice.

This place is a joke. Came on the senior bus got here they said the wind took out the electrity, no shops were open and instead of getting the buffet that we paid for gave us 10.00 Care credit instead. Don't ever come here. Don't waste your time or money. Machines don't pay there no drink services.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is excited to help you, restaurants are good to excellent, gambling is very good with lots of table games as well as slot machines.

Lots of great places to eat, the bars are nice. There's lots of new slots, card tables. It's not too Smokey. I love the lazy river and the rooms are nice. I like to go on the weekdays. The weekends get kinda too crazy for me.

Awesome customer service. Coronado Suite is more than enough room for two and guest to hang out for the day while they want to relax between playing in the casino.

The Weekend Buffet is a total rip-off. Doesn't hold a candle to a Vegas buffet for what you're paying.

After 10 years, I am done with this place. They took advantage of a disabled person. I overheard a conversation between a manager and a customer. The manager was horrible and unsympathetic. Thank goodness Viejas has more tables. #byefelicia

Smelled filthy. Just walking to the events center was a poor experience.

The cafe menu needs more variety of food and to be able to alternate their food combinations

This location was beautiful! Service/ food we could not ask for anything better. Getting alcoholic beverages was on the slow side.

I think harrahs pays people to say they won. They suck and the commercials are stupid as hell. But thank you so much for taking my money bye jerks

I just went for the lazy pool for a friend's social event. No issues, helpful staff.

Large casino, very updated, nice restaurants with great food, rooms are very nice too, and wonderful customer service.

I love Harris I love all the Caesar's properties they have been really generous to me as in comps . This trip was even more amazing ... The accommodations room was huge sweet but I do miss the days prior to going

The resort was nice. The pool was beautiful, they have the adult side and the children's side. The casino reeked of smoke though. I don't mind casinos that allow smoking, the two go hand and hand most of the time, I get that. But their casino had poor ventilation. It also seemed that their slot machines were tight, I didn't notice too many people cheering as if they won anything.... I know I didn't :(

The rooms were clean and the king size bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

Well.... it was busy, really busy. I had to wait for room to get ready. Walked around with luggage for 1.5 hrs. But after that, all good. Drinks are a bit pricey and as usual, bars are understaffed during events.

But... HUGE PLUS....
I was greeted with a text from a concierge type person and they answered every question really well throughout my time there. I even tried to stump them, but they had an answer.

Will return and suggest to others.

Great Stay. Have been to a lot of Casino/Resorts and Harrah's ranks among the best. If you have not been there, what are you waiting for. If you like seafood you have to try the Oyster Bar, you won't be disappointed. For fast food we had one of the best burgers we've had in a long time. Bottom line is we love Harrah's.

Went for the buffet and lost 40 bucks. What can you expect?

I was playing paigow poker face up many time and at many casino. The dealer opened her/his 7 cards first and set her/his hand according to house rules. Then the players check his/her 7 cards and set up their 7 cards to beat/push/lose against the dealer hand. Tonight, the dealer name Wendy and floRoman name Hoang prevented me to set the my hand to win against dealer (Wendy) hand. It is totally wrong and I would never bring my business to harrahs Southern California again.

No good!!! Every time that I go there!!! No luck... Lost a lot of money .

The Buffet is good, though the new Cafe menu leaves so much out that they used to have. Thanks for the jackpot win!

My boyfriend and I spent 2 days here and gambled last Summer, we had a great time, and great experience. We each won some money also.

I'm a poker player, and Saturday the poker at Harrah's is acceptable and fun. I won several pots that included tickets for free slot play which I gave to my wife who loves the slots! The slots were very generous that evening as well. We both made a little bit of money and had a lot of fun.

Kids were excluded from a lot of things and every time you would walk through the casino you would smell like cigaretts and the lazy river is super crowded also there were no pools that kids were allowed in but the hotel rooms were nice and every employee was very helpful

Great place for adults casino is great and comfortable to be at, kids had a blast at the pool with the lazy river, would be better if they had a larger place for families. Other pools empty and this one packed. Rooms where good and great service. A drive to get there but worth it.

I hardly have played at this casino but this time I won alot of money and even ate at the Chinese restaurant. What I had to eat was very good the only thing I didn't like was that the cook took so long on making every one food that alot of customers where very upset at the fact that for the restaurant not being busy at all he took that long. I can only imagine when its busy how long would he take to cook the food !!!
