Harrahs Resort & Casino Review

Rooms are nice, prices are insanely high though.... but I gambled there so I really have no room to complain lol. 2nd time there, we always have a lot of fun, kids loved it too.

I don't have a gambling problem stop asking for the money I just won!

Not bad, not great. Definitely one of the quieter casinos I've been too. Didn't seem like anyone was winning...ever, during our 4 days there. I will say this. The staff is nice. The food is superior. The rooms are nice. The spa was relaxing. But the casino....I'm sorry but I'd have to say the others in southern California are much better.

I came in from Iowa & the Vip host was the best! She directed us (my family) best restaurants & San diegos attractions. She got us the best seats at the lakers game. The hotel was clean & the casino was great fun. My children loved the pool & snack bar. Food was fantastic! The swim up bar for adults had all the best drinks I absolutely love Harris casino & the people there, I will recommend it to all my friends an family & I will defiantly be back!!!

Love this place. Great perks, beautiful and friendly attendants, best odds with large layouts. Personaly speaking, winning is 80% random 20% skill. Winning can be achieved any time of the 24 hour day yet I've found the hours of 6-10pm are the most plentiful with all the bells and whistles going off with jackpot payouts.

Made a last minute 5:00am reservation to get some sleep before getting back on the road. Was told it was no problem and a room was available. When I check in the guy says that no one can check in until 8:00am. So we're sitting in the lobby, not resting, not sleeping and they are cleaning carpet at our feet, as I type this review.
No supervisor.
No service.
A decent hotel would allow check in at any time of day or night. This is no way to run a hotel. Think twice before calling here for a room to get some rest in when you need sleep and can't drive anymore. Very disappointed with front desk clerk and 8:00 a.m. check in. No exceptions.

Our TV remote control didn't work when we tried to watch TV.

Next time I will GO ELSEWHERE and you should too.

Everything was great except for a very noisy neighbor that took forever for security to take care of.

Food was amazing and the pool was very relaxing. Rooms were 10 out of 10

Seems the slots have tightened up, unpleasant. The crowd seems to be taking a a dive as well.

We had high expectations to "get away" for a view days- We had 3 rooms, 7 people, booked Sunday-Tuesday. It was a bad experience- They advertise "open 24 hours" but everything closes early. The Pool closes at 6 PM, slot machines close at 11:30 PM, restaurants close at 9:00 PM. Horrible service from front desk supervisor "Nicole" Rude, uncaring , not helpful and extremely impersonal. Wi-fi will cost you $12.95 a day. The room costs is an additional $25 a day that gets charged as a "resort fee" Every bite of food in restaurant is over priced, yet mediocre. By the end of the first day we were sorry we were staying there but were Stuck. We couldn't do the things we planned on because everything closes early. It is not easy to get 7 people in the same place for planned activities and then at the last minute finding out "the pool is closed". Every where we went we hear "I apologize for the miscommunication" Its all false advertising. The staff gives inaccurate information as to times: at check in we asked what time the pool was open till and were specifically told until 8 PM by 3 different people (at the pool, and the front desk) The security at the pool pushes their weight around and are very unpleasant! Any way, we were very sorry we spend out money at this resort for our get away for our family to sorta catch our breath after my dad's funeral. Horrible experience. Worst experience I have ever had anywhere because nothing was open as planned, things were broken left and right, personnel was not helpful and basically cared less and had an attitude of "what are you going to do about it" Nicole at the front desk who said she is a supervisor, kept saying "Well, we suggest people read the website! " Which I then did, and the website has even MORE fake information such as "Resort. Open 24 hours"

Always love the lazy river for kids. Food choices are only a few. I have a hard time having normal breakfast. Very far from national food chains or local diners.

This review is for the buffet. The food at the buffet was really good however they were some things that need Improvement. At the Taco station they ran out of guacamole and I asked the person twice and they only could say that someone was making it. Well it took 45 minutes for that someone to bring it out and that's just too long to wait and it's quite necessary for the carne asada taco. The dessert section was wonderful it had a lot of selections for ice cream, cake, soft serve, and my favorite chocolate covered strawberries. However when I asked the desert person behind the counter what something was all they could say was that they didn't know. Overall the food seem like it was really good but the staff probably needs more training.

Went to see Dana Carvey which was hilarious, but went early and still couldn't get in to a restaurant. They don't take reservations... They're in the middle of nowhere!

Enough points to get a buffet and lost only a few dollars but had a great time !!!

Large rooms w/mini fridge, nice bathrooms with large tub and shower, private toilet.
Great quality bed linens.

I feel alive when I go there, great place to unwind!

I went with my girlfriends for a day trip to Harrah's. We went to enjoy the fabulous pools for the day. We had a fantastic time. We wish they offered a seasonal summer Pool Pass instead of just individual day passes.

Wr had a great time gambling and relaxing at the lazy river.

I was here for a meeting, plenty of free parking which made my life easier.

Beautiful room and great friendly service throughout the resort and casino.

Staff could of been nicer, and I feel like with how much money they make they can afford to put purse hooks on the womens bathroom stall doors

Great hotel. They have a lazy river and a couple of good restaurants inside. I enjoyed my time here.

Was surprised at the size of the resort, given that it's in the middle of nowhere. Casino was very nice, friendly employees. Was not impressed with the buffet, or the organization or people working the registers.

Casino and hotel are very nice. However, could use better variety of machines, and it's expensive to gamble here due to high minimum bet on most machines.

Hotel room in resort tower south is super nice. We loved the pool! They have a lazy river a bunch of other pools and jacuzzis.

The place is huge! Love the pool. Love the food especially the Mexican food. Friendly staff.

Cool pool area and bar. Very crowded when I went. You couldn't move around in the lazy river. We kept finding empty cups and beer cans floating in the lazy river.

The drive is beautiful, the casino isn't big but lots of shops and the bar is nice.

We check in last night this morning power went out not until 5pm told us we have to go no place to buy food inside they announced we can come back to the hotel when the power went back but did not say when? Elevator parking not working had to take the stairs No tv No Light in the bathroom No hot water. ( No free WiFi

Great hotel and casino but no late check-out?! Even with an upgraded room! Also, the hot tub and heated pools close at 5 in the winter ???

One of the best casino hotels I've been to since I went to Vegas this is the closest casino to my house and it's super nice and luxurious

It was my first time at the Harrah's. I ate at the Cafe for dinner. The food was amazing. Our waiter was good but it was hard to catch him. He walked super fast and talked really fast. I couldn't understand his answers to my questions.

The gambling experience was nice. It was difficult to the non-smoking penny slots, even using the map I got from the hotel check-in.

I really liked the openess of the property compared to Pala. I also love that my play time counts as points for Vegas too!

One big issue was that I couldn't find any handicap parking. The spots were not clearly marked and I noticed there was only one spot per row! It would be a better parking experience if they were more handicap spots near the elevators. Like along those side walls by the elevators.

Don't come here if you want to win at slots. Stick with Pechanga.

Hotel has all of the amenities, and the staffs are always friendly. The atmosphere is top notch and definitely a family friendly place.

Amazing Resort and Casino! Fun is definitely the word to describe this gorgeous establishment! Highly recommended! You will not be disappointed! You deserve to treat yourself to some fun so don't hesitate to book your next trip here!

I got to come here with my wife for a few days, great fun and really enjoyed the 21 and over pool for a time away from the kids.

We used to love going to Harrah's but even being a diamond player gets you very little any more. Dimond club entry is now by quarter which is rediculous. With the "resort fees", and $12.99 for wifi we find it less enticing to go and spend less and less.

Overall, though, the room was very nice and the staff friendly. Try the Chinese restaurant it was very good.

I gave it a 3 more for the parent company and nickel & diming. There was a sign in the room it would be a $1 charge for extra coffee in the room. I've stayed at many hotels, even cheaper, without the casino sucking your money with no such fees, free internet, etc.

The staff are the friendliest and most professional of anywhere. They were all really great!

Harrah's has that vegas vibe to it which makes it a frickin' sweet outing for a night with friends. Always have fun with you guys.
