Always fun to go to Harpoon Hanna's usually mobbed but the restaurant is really big so the wait is not bad. Great blueberry muffins.

On July 1, 2018 my family & I & our grandchildren (party of 11) did our yearly tradition & ate at Harpoon Hanna's. Our waiter was apparently brand new & not well trained. He did a good job of taking our drinks & appetizer order but half an hour later he still hadn't come back for our food order & the small children were getting restless. I flagged him down & asked him to please take our food order which he did. Another half hour went by & still NO FOOD! At this point of the night we were virtually the last people left in the diningroom. We asked to see the manager. When he showed up, he was the most ignorant person I have ever met. As we tried to explain our evening he just kept getting more rude & ignorant & argumentive! Not once did he apologize for the service & long wait. If I owned the restaurant, I would have fired him on the spot!!!!! Obviously, we won't be back! There are a lot of other fine restaurants in Ocean City to start a new family tradition.

Had a fried fish sandwich... It was very good! Batter was light and crunchy... Good stuff!

The service was horrible. The waitress took forever. A basic caesar salad with grilled chicken...the chicken was hard and cold. Stuffed chicken was cold in the middle. The waitress said she would see what the kitchen could do about the grilled chicken. She brought the same chicken back after heating in the microwave! Horrible!
Definitely do not recommend. A business should always make an effort to make the customer happy. No effort here!

Not much taste to the food, mostly fried menu, avoid the fish and chips, burgers and crab cakes, not very good, for us at least.

Was very hesitant to come due to the recent reviews. However, I m glad we went! Weekday walk in around 7pm. Only waited about 15-20 minutes (when told 30 minutes) for requested outdoor seating. It was crowded, but it was fine. Table along to the bay was beautiful! Our two waitresses Jessica and Gigi were very friendly and attentive. We ordered the crab legs and jumbo crab imperial. Food and atmosphere was great! Manager even stopped by to see if we needed anything. Zero complaints. We will be coming back!

Sat us at a small table and confined area try eating with other people bumping into your table i ordered crab cake dinner the waiter asked me how my food was because i didnt finish it ao i told him there was barley any crab in my crab cake.. he said that howthey make them in walked away. So why pay for seafood when its mainly filler

The food was delicious, and the view from the outdoor seating is beautiful! The waiter did not refill me or my SO's water the entire meal, however.

Great, definitely will be back. Every summer we come to OC and choose 1 new restaurant to try. We come down for a quick trip without the kids, we'll bring them here this summer...

At first it was great until they sat a family next to us and we realized that the patrons are not 6 ft apart at all. The food was amazing but there is no social distancing at all. We sat outside last night and had a table with a gentleman less than 3 ft away. They sat the family half way through our meal so we were stuck. Again, the food was amazing it always is but if your worried about Covid-19 and 6ft it's a hard pass. Other restaurants did a way better job of social distancing by flipping chairs on every other table or taping off every other booth. They do not skip tables or booths here. Nor do they space the tables according to CDC guidelines. Many employees were also walking around incorrectly masked. We are never going back. Even after covid the lack of concern for a pandemic is astonishing. I think during these times you figure out what matters most to the owners: their customers or their profit margin.

Love it. Enjoy the fresh baked bread before meals. Great portions.

We came on a Friday night and there was no wait. The place was packed though. They did have live music playing that night which we didn t get to stay for. We got burgers, seafood Alfredo, a salad and the seafood combo dish. We also got plenty of sides of Mac n cheese which was delicious. The burgers were either dry or very greasy but everything was very good. They do bring around homemade breads which is interesting. I say interesting because they re pastries and they are offered for free before dinner, during diner, again during diner, and again and again and then after dinner. They had muffins: coconut and blueberry if I remember correctly? We re not real big on the muffins but we re hoping for bread. We also told the person offering the bread no many times, so she didn t have to keep coming back. All very friendly staff though.

Good food, staff a tad clueless, lol, a bit expensive. Great environment. Fun with a group of friends!

Very consistent with service and food. Always a pleasant experience.

If I could I would give Harpoon Hanna s a ZERO rating. We went for dinner and to listen to the live music, we sat down in the bar area waiting to be greeted or acknowledged by a waitperson or anyone nope didn t happen. Table needed to be wiped down no one came by. Finally went to the bar asked for a towel (yes, we wiped our own table down) and for menus only to be told they didn t have enough menus, so we all had to share one. After about 15 minutes and no one came by to our table we walked out. We will never to return or recommend Harpoon Hanna s to anyone.

Went here about a month ago and it made such a great impression that i was thinking about it now and wanted to just leave a great review! These guys know how to run a business!! Great job! If your looking for a great meal with a great view and friendly staff, make sure to stop at Harpoon Hanna's. Two thumbs up!

Every time we go to Ocean City Md we eat here. Great seafood!

Server was really great. We ordered several orders of oysters on half shell and thay were very small and flat and came in a tray essentially full of melted ice. That was messy for the server and us. Otherwise food always great.

Loved the food and drinks! Hopefully we will be back summer of 2019!

I would have given a less than 1 star Rating, but that was not available. We arrived for a drink and hopefully a late lunch. Well it took awhile for anyone to notice us. Finally after a few waitstaff walked past us, the hostess (I guess that is what she was), comes over with 3 drink menus and 1 food menu. We ordered our drinks and then apps (Ahi Tuna - not, And bacon wrapped scallops. The Ahi Tuna , was obviously NOT Ahi Tuna! I make this all the time and the others with us have had it at least 100 times elsewhere and it was terrible. My husband opens up his wrapped silverware and the butter knife looked as if someone finished using it and handed it to the next table and so on and so on, until it reached our table. As we were sitting there trying to enjoy our last day at the beach, we were surrounded with tons of cigar smoke. Yay!
On the corner of the top covered outside table, we noticed all the wait staff just sitting/standing there. Apparently, here all the waitstaff takes their break at the same time. We saw several with drinks, not sure if they were alcohol beverages but they obviously were not paying attention to any of the customers. We will NOT be back and will share our experience with others to skip this place.

Good food. I got the crabby burger. Very good crab dip on my burger. Waitress was very friendly. Atmosphere was nice too. Would recommend to others.

Was told we could not sit out on dining deck area. We sat inside by the window and then watch 6 couples get seated out there. Before dinner they brought a basket of stale bread and muffins. Dinner was so so, baked potato was hard and crab cakes were 80 percent filler. Save your money.

Could not get waited on by server at outside bar. No happy hours .Yet it was on website that they had it!!

The wife and I come here every year for Thanksgiving weekend it is our favorite place to go for the past 8 years for dinner every time we come to OC. Food is always good as well as the service.

So many good things to say about this place. Grest location, outdoor seating over the water, excellent bartenders making excellent drinks and the live music made it a selling point to bring family and friends. Or even a date.

Another fantastic brunch with friends. Their Sunday brunch never disappoints.

So sad, been coming here for over 40 years. Waiter was great, food was horrible. Food was pushed out so fast I still had my appitizer and salad when my food came. Sad thing by pushing the food so fast it was undercooked and the bun girl we had to ask for buns must of made her mad to ask her to do her job she never came back. I know they have heavy crowds but the restaurant has gone downhill.

Our family of 6 adults ate here this evening. We had a bit of confusion due to language issues with the waitress. The manager Robin made all things good again and we really enjoyed the all you can eat crab legs. Large, hot legs and they didn't make you wait for the next plate of them...very good !

Beautiful setting on the bay with boats and such. Good menu selection. Food is good and priced right. Fun place to be. Not our first trip there and it wont be our last. Recommend this place.

This place was good but alittle disappointing. The view of the water was awesome, the crab dip was great but my wife's shrimp was not very good and had little taste. Plus they only had the lunch menu available until a certain time didn't have a full menu. Probably wouldn't go back.

Great atmosphere and views outside, food is pretty decent as well. Be prepared to wait for a table.

Absolutely love the wings here. Can easily tell the wings are fried from raw which makes them nice and juicy! You receive 10 in an order which allows for a take home snack. My go to sauce us the garlic buffalo. Too many other delicious items on the menu to go into such detail. Stop in and try something and enjoy the view.

Excellent views and atmosphere. Wait staff are friendly but can be a bit slow at times. Otherwise worth the visit. Great apps and seafood.

Boy, did this visit bring back memories. The same location, different menu, but the same outstanding and pleasent service. Priced right, prepared right, and just right; I'm coming back again...

The food is really good, hands out free muffins, may be busy but you can sometimes get a seat fast, drinks are also very good!

Always get here at least once on the yearly vacation to OCMD. The food is delicious, staff extremely friendly with a great atmosphere. Been going here 25+ years. Never dissatisfied.

We Go here for dinner every time we are in Oc md. By far some of the best food anywhere and I've been to ALOT of places. The coconut muffins are to die for!!

Fresh seafood, great cocktails and appetizers. Love the vibe outside, sitting by the water, especially with live music playing. Inside was a little noisy. The homemade muffins and raisin bread are soooo good! Meals were good, but nothing unique.

Great experience all around. Our server Maggie was outstanding by far one of best servers we have had during out trip. The food was excellent and the portion sizes were very filling. Prices compared to portions was a good value. Something for everyone on this menu. The bread girl delivering fresh bread and muffins throughout the night was a nice unique experience, the muffins and bread were delicious. Restaurant was clean, staff were polite and professional. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to OC.

It was terrible. We got there at 9:45 and it took so long to get our waiter to take our order. The bread was hard and the muffins were dry. While waiting for our order the staff was vacuuming and sweeping the floor. We felt like they couldn't wait for us to leave. We had to find the waiter to fill our water glasses. We asked if we could get another piece of bread. The waiter said he would send the lady over. Ten minutes later we had to find her. By this time the bread was hard as a rock. The food was just so so when it finally arrived. When I walked out a broom that was leaning against the railing fell and hit my leg. It truly wa an unpleasant experience.

We ate here on a Saturday evening & arrived just before 5 PM. It took about 5 minutes to be seated, which was fine. However, it took at least 15 minutes for a server to come greet us & take our drink order. It took another 10 minutes to get our drinks before placing our order. Once we ordered, it took at least another 15 minutes for our salads to come out. Four of the people in our party ordered the unlimited crab legs... that was a huge mistake considering how slow the service was! The first set of crab legs they brought out had been sitting under the warmer for way too long because the meat inside was completely like rubber. They were inedible and we notified our server. She said she would make more and have them out in 4 minutes.... 15 minutes later she brings the next set, most of which were edible but there were still inedible hard crab leg meat in some of the clusters. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. The service is the worst I've ever experienced. Our server didn't deserve a tip at all, but we still left over 20%.... worst experience ever.

Wings were Good & the Beer was Cold, great location to people & boats !!

This is a nice well-known restaurant in Ocean City. It was really the offseason when I visited there the beginning of May. When it's busy I hear it's really nice there with entertainment outside.
We sat inside as it was too chilly to sit outside and the food was really good and the service was wonderful.

Probably the best in OC (well Fenwick to be exact) but good size menu and amazing food only problem is the wait after like 6pm (like 1-2hr wait) but I have waited and always love it.

Very busy place.. a language barrier with the waiter, although he was so nice and service was good.

Being a seafood place, I expected a variety of choices, most had crab and shrimp (which I just don't like). Upon arrival, it was loud and crowded but we were able to be seated quickly. They stuck us at a table next to the door that led to the patio with the door opening constantly bringing music so loud I couldn't have a conversation with my family without yelling. The bread was okay but it was hard to hear the options over the noise. I decided to have tuna (the price wasn't listed on the menu but it was reasonable.) I asked for it to be cooked rare to medium. Our server dropped off the food and then took our drinks for refills saying she would be right back. She came back several minutes later. Before she returned I found my tuna to be so thoroughly cooked it wasn't even pink. It tasted like the tuna you get from a can. It was absolutely terrible. Our server came back and asked how things were and before I even got a chance to speak she walked away and didn't return until the rest of my family had eaten. When she finally returned, I finally got to say that it was horrible, I didn't want a box for it. She was "apologetic" saying I should have told her (even though she never was at our table). Horrible cooking, I ended up getting a kids fish and chips. Definitely will never recommend this or return.
