This is a gorgeous facility. Their staff is top notch. Our child struggled at other camps, not here. The owners are onsight daily. This camp is their "baby" and it shows. The facility is gorgeous. They maintain a no cell phone policy for camp counselors. And, the counselors are mature and know how to work with active kids. Highly recommend it.

My children have cherished the past 6 summers at Harbor Hills, and can t wait to return each summer. The activities are fun and plentiful, and the staff caring and wonderful. The teen travel program provides my oldest with more exciting adventures than I could possibly provide for him myself.

Went for company picnic. Not a traditional place for company Picnic but had many activities. The swimming pools were heated and it was salt water pool. There were baseball, basketball, soccer, beach volleyball, kids playground, trampoline, go karts. The area we had food was covered. Overall, good place for a big company Picnic.

My daughters started at Harbor Hills Day Camp when they turned three years old! It s now our seventh summer and the best one yet! The new owners (Hunter and Fara) are always striving to find new ways to keep the camp fresh and exciting for the kids! Each day my girls come home with amazing stories and loving anecdotes about their counselors!! I can t imagine a summer without Harbor Hills Day Camp!!

Bad experience. Camp lacks in supervision, concerns fall on deaf ears. If you are ok with your child being left unsupervised then consider this camp. If you want to ensure that your child is safe when they leave each day, choose a different summer camp! Parents are outraged at the many problems that harbor hills has. New owners do not know how to run a top notch camp. Do not make the same mistakes we did. Look at Camp Riverbend or Camp Harmony instead.

I am not one to post a negative review about a com...

I am not one to post a negative review about a company or person, however; the experience that my daughter had at Harbor Hills was horrific to say it mildly. Just a few of the many issues at this camp: My daughter came home badly sun burnt many times, instead of playing games and keeping the children engaged on the buses, our daughter told us that one of the bus counselors would sleep on the bus all the time, would tell the kids to be quiet and that they were not allowed to talk and this counselor also proceeded to give my daughter a lecture on guns and the family members that he has that are in jail, other staff members spoke to my daughter in a rather innappropriate way, some of the equipment was NOT installed properly at the camp and there have been injuries (some rather serious), the "so called" nurses are not qualified at all. They sent my daughter home with what they determined to be ringworm. After taking her to her qualified pediatrician, she said that the symptoms were so far from the symptoms of ringworm that she said they could not have medical backgrounds. Contrary to what we were sold on, the counselors and staff are very young and inexperienced. They are not qualified to deal with young children at all and with the lack of leadership and accountability, this is a very scary place to entrust the well being of your child with. It is ashame because the camp grounds are rather pretty. We have spoken to many other parents that also are very, very displeased and feel like they too were greatly deceived. The owners, Hunter and Farrah do not care about anything other than taking your money. Each time we addressed the problems with the owners, it always fell on deaf ears. The owners would also battle us and tell us that some of our concerns could not be valid. They later apologized after they reviewed the cameras which confirmed some of the craziness. This camp will never make it and don't be suprised to read about a serious incident occuring here one day if they continue to ignore very serious safety issues and put the desire to make money over the well being of young children.

This camp is not run well and is very disorganized. I was giving Harbor Hills a try since my daughters friend is in it , I signed my daughter in for 4 weeks filled the application and followed the process, drove all the way to camp to drop the payment and I got a call 2 hours later that they couldn t pick up or drop off my daughter that i was too far away and not convenient for them. I m only 16 miles away meanwhile they pick up kids from Hoboken which is 40 miles away , Short Hills and towns that are way further than me . They do false advertising, they should only advertise the towns they are willing to pick up kids and they should tell you in advance that your address is not convenient for them. Anyways learned my lesson, if this is the way the signed up went which is the easiest of all processes I can t imagine how poorly run everything else is. Will go back to Meadowbrook Camp where I ve only had good experiences.

I m absolutely disgusted and appalled at the new camp director s and teen adventure director s performances. They, have transformed the once respectable teen adventure program into a garbage dump. The director has no clue what she s doing and treats the young adults in the program like they re small children. I must say Harbor Hills turned from something you could look forward to into something that I ended up dreaded with boredom. It s only redeeming feature is the campers that go there are a very nice group of people. My biggest complaint is that instead of spending the majority of the time having fun we ended up spending up to hours sitting and waiting on benches in the hot sun. They don t let the campers on their phones, yet they even don t give them alternative things to do instead. Although I m no longer in the regular camp program I have heard from younger campers that the once honestly very tasty food is now disgusting, unhealthy and bland. Please think twice before sending your children to this camp I used to love, and if the camp is reading this, you need to change things back to how they used to be if you don t want to lose money.
