Happiness farmville & Phutawan resort Reviews

I am giving this resort a 5 star rating purely for the sheer beauty of the surrounds. We stayed in Room 2301 for the best views. The infinity pool has breathtaking views. Located high up against the mountains it is much cooler than below. Several seating areas to enjoy meals or just to gather with friends. The bedrooms could do with an upgrade. Bed was a but creeky. The restaurant served pretty good food. A lovely 10 minute walk to the beach and three village. It is a steep walk up to the resort so arrange for a pick up to help with luggage. There are no cars in Railay so there only way to get to the resort is by longtail boat or by speedboat. There isn't a pier in Railway West so be prepared to walk in knee high water. Best to travel very light. We enjoyed watching the mountain climbers for three pool and eagles soaring in the sky.

It s been a while (2012) but this still stands out as one of our favourite places we stayed. We had a room on stilts with a balcony overlooking the forest. The room was clean and air conditioned. The bathroom was amazing and the staff were all friendly, professional, and hard working.
Enjoyed one of the best cups of coffee in my life and the rock climbing school just next door.
I would happily stay here again and again. 1 week would be well worth the 30+ hours of travel to get there!
If you re on the fence, just book it and go. You won t regret it.

Nice place to stay. Excellent reception with welcome drinks. They kindly upgrade my room. Spacious room and nice furniture. Good room service. Amazing view from the swiming pool. Good buffet breakfast with plenty of options. They help me with my bags when I checked out.
Internet is not good. No English channels on TV. No plug sockets on both sides of the bed. The fridge was full of ice, they fixed in the same day. You may find some ants in your breakfast.

I loved the pool with the cliff and the food was pretty good. The whole place is pretty old and needs some renovation. The staff were all efficient and friendly.

Awful room. Tiny dark and smelly. Lots of roosters that wake you up at 6am every day and go on for 2 hours.

Was for our honeymoon and no effort made whatsoever.

Food was not great and hugely over priced. They also had the cheek to try and charge us twice on a few meals... paid cash at the meal then they still stuck it on the room bill despite not even signing for it as we paid cash.

Did not clean our room once in a 4 night stay.

It was an amazing experience being here in this property.

The only mode of transportation to this place is long tail, which makes this place unique.

Two amazing beaches (East - very calm, West - very wild) in close proximity.

Diamond cave is just at its entrance.

The Resort itself seems like it is carved from the forest, fully green.

Service is similar to a 5 star hotel.

Really nice place to rest on vacation, even room are kinda old and not so comforable. But services mind of resort's officer is the best. So for the price related, I really suggest this place to be the one on your list.

First time here.. every staff were warm welcome ...our room is good but the bathroom so small...
