Good hotel, nice breakfast. Rooms with a bit of a handicap, moisture in the bath and hot. Otherwise a great place ,. In the summer, it can be murderous.

The rooms could have been better equipped with better blackout curtains. Especially since the hotel is so far north and the sun is up most of the day. about 22h during the summer.

A really nice atmosphere, the classic Stadshotell milieu. Breakfast is good. Well suited for families with children. Some of the rooms are a bit small, but they are always at this age hotel. A place worthy of inattention if you happen to go here. Recommendations

Fantastic nice old hotel, beautiful architecture and a lot of authentic interior from the turn of the century between the 18th and 20th century. Impeccable service, good breakfast in great dining room.
Dinner in the evening in the restaurant in the same building was a gastronomic experience. A must of an experience when one is in Happaranda. I like to go back there

Very nice hotel that takes you back in time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is not very diverse, but perfectly fine. The hotel is located pretty central, to the Victoriatorget you walk about 15 minutes.

Here I have stayed one night on my way to adventure in Finnish Lapland (Lappi). My party arrived late at night in the small town of Haparanda. The hotel was then closed and all staff had gone home.

Five of us recently stayed at the Stadshotell for 6 days while doing family geneaology in the area. The hotel is beautiful, rooms very nice and the staff was exceptional!!!! Helpful in every way. The hotel restaurant offered fine dining. They also recommended Riitta Jarvinen who owns a beautiful bus. She drove us all over the area for those 6 days. Everyone made our stay so enjoyable.

Closes too early on a Friday. Everyone goes to Finland. Good luck to happis.

Expensive hotel accommodation, unsavory rooms, mediocre breakfast

Nice location, secluded but with shops and kiosks nearby. Very nice rooms, and the decor and style of the hotel corridor, the breakfast room etc were very nice. Good breakfast, lots and choice and the service I give thumbs up.

Beautiful hotel, located in the city center. We've been hosted for a midnight diner during our travel to Lapland. Did not stay the night, but good host nonetheless.

The breakfast was really bad and the bed ugly. Will not be back. Unfortunately.
