Unfortunately, the trucks of the Hapag-Lloyd company which transit in France do not respect the ban on transit of heavy goods vehicles over 7.5t on the D 421 (Alsace).
These heavy goods vehicles pass through the villages of Mommenheim, Schwindratzheim, Hochfelden, in theory prohibited for this type of vehicle (prefectural decree of October 17, 2006, sign at the entrance to the villages).
The local service if necessary can very well be done by using the motorway which is parallel to this route (!), Possible exits in Schwindratzheim (possibility of going to Hochfelden and Schwindratzheim), Brumath- nord (Mommenheim) and Brumath-Sud ...
The aim is probably to save some money by avoiding the Schwindratzheim toll. On the other hand, no savings for local residents: pollution, noise, deterioration of the roads ...
