Hannaford does not enforce face coverings! Custome...

Hannaford does not enforce face coverings! Customers walking all directions without masks, and employees wearing masks incorrectly under the nose. I had to ask my bagger to pull up her covering while bagging my groceries. After shopping today, I spoke with a supervisor at my local store and was told that corporate hasn't made a decision on this and that, at this time, they are being told not to enforce the wearing of coverings. All other grocery chains big and small are enforcing this. How can you claim to care for your customers and employees when you won't enforce a state mandated order for the safety of the public health? Worried about a lawsuit from someone you kick out? I'd be more worried about a lawsuit from someone who catches COVID-19 from unmasked people shopping in one of your stores.

Hanaford doesn't care about it seniors. By refusing to enforce the mask policy, you are putting my life in danger. Manager says he is afraid of being sued, if I catch the virus in the store, which is the only place I go, I will sue.

WiFi hasn't worked in months. Customer service counter is a joke. VERY POOR corporate response. Apparently they make a good enough profit to put customer service last. Find another grocery store. You'll be glad you did!

This is a complaint about your Bucksport hannafords. My husband went to buy a self rising crust pizza. We always get the dejorno pizza . I probably spelled it wrong however when he went to the register the cashier noticed it was busted open so he went to get another one. All of that brand was busted open. We always buy the supreme. He ended up getting a Hannaford brand self rising pizza. It was much smaller and the crust did not ride. It was so greasy I fed it to the dog. I took a couple bits and did not eat anymore of it. Also the stores bread isle is not well stocked. No sourdough no pumpanick bread. Hannaford white bread is either to thin or dried out. Also, they stopped selling Hannaford brand bologna and salami. Those use to be a good buy especially for us people on a fixed income brand names are to expensive especially the salami. Why was that taken away?

I mostly enjoy shopping at Hannaford, although I wish they had more organic veggies. However, my one real pet peeve is that they have their paper bags manufactured so incredibly cheaply that many times I've had a bag explode open in the parking lot, dumping everything out. While I agree that we need to reduce our use of paper and plastic, the problem here is that if a store is going to provide a bag (and charge for it), they need to make a bag that actually holds the items. Today, one of the cashiers went through 3 bags in a row while trying to bag my items, and each bag ripped open so he had to discard each bag. What a waste of time and paper! The cashier was rightfully annoyed and so was I. Aside from that real never-ending annoyance at Hannaford, I generally like shopping there.

I am so disappointed that Hannaford Bros has chosen not to comply with the state mandate (Maine) of requiring customers to wear face coverings while in a public establishment. I was told by a store manager (and a customer service rep at the corporate office) that face coverings were "requested" not required. Other larger grocery stores as well as small establishments have signs on their entrance doors that face coverings are a must prior to entering. Hannaford's claim of commitment to the safety & health of their staff and customers is contradictory to their actual practice. Shame on them.

I absolutely love my job but shame on hannaford as a whole for 1 giving us nothing for risking our lives through this pandemic and 2 for not requiring the customers to wear masks while shopping it speaks volumes about how much they care only about their pockets and not about their employees
