I needed to get a few supplies for a new project and wanted to go to an actual store instead of buying on line. This was my third visit to HOKC. I was wondering if the two previous visits were out of the ordinary. But nope. Every time I walk in the door I find friendly people and help if I need it without feeling pressure. It s a wonderful place. The quality of the yarn, as well as the notions, is excellent. They even wound my skein for me. I love this store.

This review is long overdue! I just can t say enough good things about HOKC! First off I hope all the fiberistas in Redlands can appreciate how lucky they are to even have a LYS and an extraordinary one at that! Some of us have to drive in for the wonderful yarns and classes. All of which change often enough to satisfy any wool crafters wishes! The selection of yarns is awesome. The tools are excellent and the expertise is as broad and varied as the wonderful women who make this place so special! A special shout out of appreciation to Molly, Diane, Kathy, Myrna and especially to Peggy who s weaving classes opened up a whole new world that I didn t even know existed with the rigid heddle loom! Anyone wanting instruction in any yarn crafting skills couldn t find a better and more varied outlet then this wonderful place.

First time here today. What a warm and lovely shop. Gentle laughter, humor and sage wisdom. I'll be a regular there from now on. See you ladies on Wednesday evenings for the Knit & Knatter. Will not attend next week, taking my two granddaughters to Morro Bay on a road trip! See you soon.....again thank you so much.

Hands on Knitting is a delightful place to learn to knit. The store associates are knowledgeable and extremely helpful with any project you are working on. They have a beautiful assortment of yarn and helped me pick the right yarn for the project.

I can't say enough about my experience at "Hands on Knitting". Sharon, Sue and Molly are some of the best instructors I've ever had. They are patient, kind and always make themselves available to assist you. I've met many wonderful women and feel a strong sense of camaraderie with them as well as with our instructors. I knew nothing about knitting before I came to " Hands on Knitting" and have made a great amount of progress. My knitting classes are part of my weekly routine and always look forward to coming. They carry the best yarns available and all the tools necessary for your needs. Join and have a great experience!!

Love this place!! I've been knitting for about 7 months now and the people here have always been so helpful and nice whenever I need help figuring out problems with my knits, how to do new techniques, and for finding the right yarn for my projects. I also love that they encourage you to sit and knit with the other people there and are always so welcoming. I recommend people of all skill levels to visit here...you won't be disappointed.

The ladies there are all so welcoming and very helpful. I took in my Hanks to get wound and they were done in five minutes, or it seemed like five minutes and I had one that was all tangled up and Diane took the time to untangle it !!! I would recommend this shop to anyone who loves good quality yarn and a friendly atmosphere.

Hot tea always ready... comfy chairs to sit and knit, ready. Friendly faces, always welcome the second you walk in. This is my heaven. Delectable yarns, abundant tools, artisans of any fiber related craft always on hand. Definitely my go to place for all things fiber related.

I absolutely love everything about this yarn shop. Everyone is welcome and treated like one of the family when you walk through the door. Fabulous selection of yarns and spinning fiber. Spinning classes, felting, dying, knitting, crochet...you name it!

This place is adorable and so welcoming! There was a whole group knitting when we came in and they all said hi even though weve never been on before. They invited us to all their events and were super encouraging. My gf and I came in for her spinning supplies and they had some. Which is rare so we cant complain, but wed love to see more selection. The lady that helped us was super sweet and friendly. We will be back!

I've been a customer at HOKC ever since they opened. The owners are all so nice, and it has a very welcoming atmosphere.

Today, I got help with a weaving loom I rented from the store. I took a beginning weaving class a few days ago, and wanted to start a new project.

This is the best lys in the Inland Empire, beautiful yarns, a very welcoming staff, great classes and awesome help with all your knitting or crocheting needs! I truly appreciate being able to go to the Hands on Knitting Center!!!!

You can learn how to knit or crochet here, either with scheduled classes or by buying yarn and hooks/needles and asking for help. I went when I was working on a new crochet pattern and needed other experienced eyes to look at my work to make sure I was on target. About twelve women of diverse ages and backgrounds were sitting around a large table, all knitting (I was the only one doing crochet). They talked and helped each other. Coffee, tea, and snacks were available for purchase.

Such great, friendly, and helpful staff here! It was a pleasure to just watch the customers who came in get such great service. I, myself, hung out and knitted while a friend took a class, and I got some good advice and much needed supplies to go along with the enjoyable experience.

Molly is super friendly and knowledgeable! Will be going back again as soon as I can!

Love this shop filled with warm and friendly people

The shop was easy to find. I was greeted immediately and asked if I needed help. There were approximately 20 patrons seated at a large table working on various projects. I found the staff and other crafters friendly and willing to help any one with questions. The yarns were luscious and enticing for new projects. I am very pleased to have tried this shop.

Always feels good from the moment you walk in the door. So many talented people ready to share their abilities with others.

I travel frequently and visit many yarn stores. Hands On Knitting center is by far the most, helpful and Friendly. Last night I called with a question and Diane spent 15 minutes on the phone with me. Then today when I visited the store Molly heard my preferences for yarn and I left feeling confident I had just the right yarn for my next project.

So very friendly and helpful. Prices were great. I will definitely be going back.

This is an awesome shop with wonderfully warm welcoming people. My husband is working in the Redlands area for a few months and while visiting him I visited this shop. They have a beautiful selection of yarn and the knitting table full of people knitting was wonderful. This shop is definitely worth a visit but you may become hooked and visit more often.

Wonderful place! Owners invite you in, extremely friendly, offer much helpful information in any needleart.. spinning, knitting, crochet, weaving.. beautiful yarns and other products. Classes are very good.. definitely a great place to learn. And a friendly gathering of folks bringing their work and friendship here. People freely share. A store, and a supportive community.

I HAD MY FIRST BEGINNERS KNITTING CLASS WITH SUE LAST THURSDAY, IT WAS WONDERFUL. SUE HAD SO MUCH PATIENCE. I JUST NEED A COOK AND HOUSEKEEPER SO I CAN SPEND MORE TIME KNITTING. I LOVED THE PEOPLE, AND THERE ARE SO MANY BEAUTIFUL THINGS TO KNIT. SEE YOU SOON "HANDS ON KNITTING". BETTY

Such patience on helping figure out a knitting pattern, I've never seen in the 9 countries & 10 states & 5 L.A. county where I have visited yarn shops. A true delight.

This store has THE most beautiful yarns. That and the owner herself and the people who work here sit and chat with you and truly are passionate about knitting. I love this place.

-stop-place-to-shop, to sit n' knit, to share my accomplishments and to get help when "somthin' 'ain't right" with my project.
The quality and selection of yarn, notions and resources are great, the staff is nurturing, knowledgeable and AVAILABLE! Yay! I super enjoy the classes that challenge me and take me to a higher skill level. I am currently working on a sweater :)

I went for a yarn dyeing class which was great. The people were very friendly and helpful. I will return for other classes in the future. Of course I will make yarn purchases while there.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. It's a nice clean place with a great selection of quality yarns hard to find other places.

Warm and friendly atmosphere; very helpful; greeted me as soon as I walked in; all the ladies knitting there were very nice, willing to tell me about what they were doing and how they like the needles they were using. I look forward to going to their Wednesday night knitting session! I would recommend this lovely yarn shop to anyone interested in weaving or knitting.
