Don't be fooled by the name, this hotel does not meet up to the standards of any other Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at. Mattress was old and bouncy. Walls are thin enough to hear guys peeing in the adjoining room. Windows let all the sound from the interstate and birds (@ 3:30 AM) in.

Read some other reviews. Not sure what restaurant they were reviewing, but the breakfast here is fit for a Motel 6, not a Hampton. Not good at all.

Excellent breakfast offerings you may take to your room. But take a tray from the room so you can bring juice, coffee, food back to room in 1 trip. I just stayed from midnight to early morning so have no other observations.

one of the best hamptons i stay at. its a little old but its clean, fair rates, shuttles are great, friendly staff, everything is super clean. id rather stay here than anywhere else in KC

If I could give 10 starts, I would. Room was clean and bed was cozy. The staff members here are genuinely kind, professional and will go out their way to help you and see to it that your stay peaceful. I didn't have any problems while I stayed and I would stay again. In fact, although this Hampton is little older than some of the Hampton's I've stayed with, it is clean and cozy. I don't understand any negative review or feedback because my stay was perfect and what a stay at a Hilton brand should be.

Worst hotel I have ever been in and I have stayed in over 80 different hotels. This trip requires 11 overnights in this dive. Water was turned off for a broken water line on day three. Took me three days to get my room cleaned . Yes I asked every day. On day six, I attempted to turn the TV on for the first time, well it didn t work. They replaced the remote, now the TV works if I hold the remote and grab the remote sensor, holding them close to together ather. Why have a remote if I need to stand six inches from the TV, I d use the manual buttons in the TV, but they don t work either. Additionally the volume doesn t adjust, so I hope the guests next door don t mind the TV blaring all night. Sorry can t turn the volume down. They had to change the broken desk chair in my room, replace my alarm clock, and the darn phone light is flashing 24/7. BTW most of the staff is friendly and the cleaning crew offed to clean my room today. Yes I know the hotel will be renovated next month, but spending over $1100 for the 11 day stay is ludicrous, my mortgage isn t that much. I d recommend you run from this place. I would, but my employer won t let me change hotels.

I have stayed here a couple of different times to get a real feel for the reviews online, and I would have to say the Lady s in the front of the house are extremely nice and always willing to put the customer first!!! As far as cleanliness of the rooms they where very fantastic. I would have to say all the places I have ever been to this location is up most friendly and I was even offered help my their wonderful young Maintanece man who was extremely nice , I witnessed on a couple different times he would greet the customers just as friendly and the wonderful women on the front desk!!!.. the breakfast on the other hand could be a little better maybe even bring back the warm buffet food I think would make a better impression for travelers comping and going

This hotel is convenient to the airport and has a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. Positives that breakfast is included and the breakfast area is nice.
Rooms have had newer furniture in the last few years, but overall they are dated and need updated.
Not bad for the price.

Edit: Changing ratings down to a 1 star. The ac/heat in the room on the fritz. They send the shuttle driver up who has no idea what to do, to fiddle with it...Can't fix. Room not super hot, but offers to bring a fan. Plugs it in and doesn't work, that's because the socket is bad. Uses different plug, comes on. Only works on high.
Good thing I've discovered the 1 inch crack in the wall around the door and the 3 inch gap under the door...that will keep the fresh air coming in.
