Excellently laid out and kept property, good little cafe and a cute chicken who begs for foods. Worth a visit!

Beautifully kept gardens, lots to look at, very picturesque. Not cheap but a lovely day out every once in a while

Nice old place. Full of suits if armour n trophy animals. N other items. Then the river walk. Took about hr. Gardens also.

Great place to visit with children. Play area and large mysterious gardens to wander about in. Be careful of the water features. Prices are reasonable and food was pretty good too.

Lovely gardens. Fine walk by the river. Didn't go in the building so can't comment on that. There was an interesting falconry display which was an added bonus. Range of food was limited, but that could be a Covid thing, however it was all good and we went back for cakes later. Staff were all friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful grounds, particularly the walled garden.

We didn't tour the castle a it was too nice a day to go inside! Will probably come back to do inside the castle another day.

Absolutely stunning gardens and scenic river walk around a beautiful historic building.

Ideal for family's as there's a large picnic area, waterfall and a maze.

Good castle. No need to book online, just turn up and but the tickets. The garden is very well kept and the walks are lovely. Lots of scenic views to enjoy.
