First time there today and I loved it! I tried the swirl (strawberry and peach) ice cream-- it was a lot of ice cream for a little bitty cone, but I loved it-- so creeeeaammy and a very subtle kind of sweet. Finally bought my own pecan pie, too, after I tried it at my in-laws some time ago, can't wait to dig into that again! I look forward to trying the red raspberry preserve sample that comes in the cutest miniature glass jar for $.99 and I think next time I will try the peach pulled pork. Yum!

My peaches are beautiful but my experience was not! My first time here and I was so excited to scope out this place and buy peaches but needless to say it was an utter disappointment! They did not turn the open sign on at 9 so about 9:05 I walked in and asked if they were open and the young girl nodded yes and walked away. Not 1 person asked if I needed help or even acknowledge I was new and lost but I stayed in the general store for about 10 minutes and looked around anyway. I was headed to my truck to leave and sat in it for a few minutes and noticed the peaches under the awning so I headed over there as I wanted to buy alot of peaches but there were barely any out on display. One person asked a young girl where all the peaches were and she stated we just opened so they will be out shortly.... you open at 9am and are not prepared? On another note NONE of the young girls employed there even care about working there or acted like they wanted to be there! Girls you applied there right? If you don't like it there then go get another job! Anyway.... my peaches are awesome but I will never return

A peach orchard that is open from mid-May to mid-August. Not only peaches, but also pork BBQ pickled in peaches is a must! The BBQ set is a set of homemade BBQ sauce and buns, so you can make your own hamburger. The sweetness, a little sourness and freshness were mixed in the mouth, and thanks to the peach pickles, it was very soft and delicious. Also, the fried peach pie was very delicious because it was handmade here. He also has a blueberry patch in June.

Going to Ham Orchards at least once a summer is a tradition. Lots of parking and friendly staff. They have a delicious selection of salsas, jellies, bbq sauce as well as some produce you can buy, though everything is a little pricier than a traditional farmer's market. They also have delicious Eddie Deen's BBQ that you can buy, as well a large pavilion to sit under. TIP: Don't go on the weekend if you hate crowds. The little store will be packed and the line for the fudge/ Peach ice cream will snake through the store. They may need to consider moving the ice cream to it's own location or expanding the store in the future to accommodate the weekend crowds. Other than that, a fun experience!

The barbeque is worth the hour trip. Best ice cream I've had, very soft and everything is homemade. Great outdoorsy, open field, hot day, and cold lemonade. You can pick your own blackberries and blueberries. Super fun, only open during summer!

Outstandingly good bar b que. Surprised the peach sauce is so good, as a Texan I prefer no sauce but I loved the peach. The sandwiches are piled so high with meat you could make 2 meals from one. On top of excellent bar b que, they have a shop with fresh produce and homemade goodies, don't forget to grab the soft serve peach icecream

Listen, yes the lines are long. Yes, it's crowded, but no one can help that. I look for any excuse to go to this place when the peaches are in season. This year, I accidentally dropped my cup of peach ice cream on the road outside. I picked it right back up and kept eating it. Yes I ate dirt. Square up and fight me, I regret nothing. I gave a couple of my peaches to my friend, but I do regret that. Never share this stuff. If you rate this place as 1 star, either your peaches were all stolen or you have no taste buds and you live a sad, miserable life.

Nice drive from Plano. Bought some outstanding peaches, scones, salsa and preserves. Added some great peach bbq to top off the purchases. Drove leisurely back home and chowed down. Going back for more, for sure.

REAL juicy fresh delicious peaches. Not the mealy dry ones you get at the grocery stores. The peach pulled pork sandwiches were huge & awesome! We couldn't put ours down long enough to take a breath :-D

Makes a nice short day excursion. Good short sandwich menu and abundant food products to choose in the store along with fresh produce and peaches of course. Although items were fresh & interesting, they seemed expensive but bought a couple items anyway. Definitely try the peach ice cream after lunch or as a stand alone treat! Fresh peach variety was very limited during this last week before they close (August 11) and not tasty to me so better to go earlier in the season to have a variety to taste & select. Was told the cling peaches are only available at start of season.

Limited menu selection, we only had choice of bbq sandwiches and small sides. Bbq brisket sandwich was fair. The real draw is the attached store. Peaches we bought were very good and juicy. Other fruits and some vegetables were available. The big seller was peach or strawberry ice cream, fudge was also available. Of course there are tshirts and other gift items.

Such a fun place to go and visit. They have a variety of peaches available at different times during the summer months and hand out samples of them in their store so you know what you are buying. They also have fresh produce, jams, jellies, preserves, ciders, dips, pies, and dressings (and so much more!) for you to purchase as well. Their t-shirts are also the most comfortable and I've gotten one the last 2 summers I've visited. You must try their peach ice cream!

They are well know for their homemade organic ice cream. Their ice cream is very good with different fruit flavors. The place is always crowed. They employed a lot of youth and they are very friendly and sweet. All their food is fresh and organic. $$ they sale some sweets like cake and pies. You can find a good variety of canning food $$, fresh fruits (peaches, strawberries, blueberries etc. Next door they have a bbq place with a nice seating area. Their bbq is pricey for their taste. BBQ was ok. $$-$$$. Their parking is loose gravel be careful when raining you will get messy. Kuddos for having most of Terrell high school students. To find the place get your gps unless you are from Terrell you will feel loss and be careful with the area. Train tracks crossing plus people love to speed in that area makes crossing a little changing

Won t be going back. I drove an hour to get there and was excited to go because it s very popular. However my boyfriend wasn t spoken to when we ordered and was given dirty looks the whole time. Many people stopped dead in their tracks to turn around and stare at him most likely because he was the only black person and that s highly inappropriate and disrespectful. The food was okay but when I asked for no bun the worker said are you allergic or something and the ice cream wasn t all that they say it is.

Great! You can still buy lunch but you can't eat under the pavilion, which is being used to sell peaches. The store is open as well. We ate lunch in our car and then shopped. Employees were all wearing masks and social distancing is practiced.

This is a gem of East DFW. A family ran peach farm, but also grows much more. There is a old fashion store that carries all sorts of local made/grown goods. You MUST try the Peach Ice-cream. In addition they serve great BBQ. There is a large pavilion to eat all your tasty treats.

Yay

We enjoy their peach cobbler, fudge pie, and sweet breads. All of which are very flavorful.
Their peaches are inconsistent in quality. Always better than store bought, but not as good as you hope for.

A little pricey but good. Ice cream is very good. There are samples of different items. Also a BBQ shack out back, and plenty of seating. The parking lot was packed. Plenty of satisfied customers here.

I almost cried when they closed August 15 but know that their season is over. I have an allergy and carrie an epie pen for instecticides on foods that come from Mexico and Peru. They were a godsend to me all summer. I had no swollen face from allergies. Everything there is wonderful.

Why did I wait this long to try this place? Peach BBQ and peach ice cream were incredible. Kids (ok, me too) loved picking blackberries. We visited on First Monday weekend which probably drove up traffic but it wasn t too crowded. We will go back!

Just wonderful! We met the owner, Dale. Awesome guy! Very passionate about his produce and his customers. You don't just have to be a peach fan to enjoy the experience. Incredibly happy that I went. You should too ;)
