Nice local library. Nonetheless, if you tend to study here, you will be disturbed by some not-too-far trains' noise. Some people talk to loud despite library rules. Staff didn't take action when they notice it.
Nice, clean and well maintained library. Patrons are able to use computers with one hour time limit.The library accepts Fort Worth library card.
This library has taken the most extreme and nonsensical approach to Covid precautions of any facility I've seen anywhere, short of closing down completely.

One day last month, I used one of these to homeschool my son with special needs.
When our time was up, a staff member approached us. I calmly explained that since there were plenty of other desks for other potential visitors, and no upcoming reservations for our desk, we required a few extra minutes to complete our work before leaving. Rather than applying patience, empathy, and common sense to the situation, the staff here called the police and filed trespassing charges to have us removed.
This is no doubt a beautiful facility, but the unkind and inflexible attitude of the staff creates a hostile and unneighborly environment.
Haltom City should be ashamed.
I'm an employee of Haltom City Public library. The most pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The staff and most patrons are very friendly and helpful.
I absolutely love this library!! Clean and quite. I owe money, omgosh, what did someone check out in my name and when and how long ago? Ugh....
I used to go here everyday after school when I was around 11, it s a really pretty library and overall good. The only reason why it s getting 3 stars instead of 5 is some of the staff members have no patience for teenagers. One time I was simply waiting to be picked up after studying and these older girls in which I didn t know seemed to have wanted to bully me and were causing a scene, a librarian then came out and told us to separate then another librarian came telling us we had to leave or else she would call the police on all of us including me being only 11 years old and simply had nothing to do with the older girls bothering me in which I don t know at all. I tried explaining what happened and she simply wouldn t listen. After that I wasn t allowed to enter the building anymore. What I m saying is the staff could handle situations with teens and pre-teens a bit better.
It was my 1st time to go to a Texas library, so I didn't have a card. The ladies were so nice and polite and helped me get in and out quickly. It was a wonderful experience.
I love it there. Its soothing and peaceful and the people who work there are very understanding.
Hardly anyone there. The Librarian was very nice and heloful.
