Great food, however working there can be very frustrating when these shift leads or assistant managers are constantly on smoke breaks..... Not good needs monitored and adressed. They need to work, help, not just give orders as they sit and do Not.....

My sons car got backed into by the delivery driver last weekend. We called the alliance location to inform the manager on duity what had happened. She informed us she was contacted by the driver to let them know. All good so far. Comes to find out that the driver s insurance was lasped so we called the location again and we was informed that her policy was reinstated on July 11th 2020. Great news. I asked if I could get a call back from the GM and was told I would be contacted Thursday (7/6/2020) no call I called the next day and spoke to the GM and was told the same thing insurance is current and thing would move along. Great. When I asked her why she never called me in the first place she stated that she wasn't obligated to do so. Well I own a business and if one of my employees would have caused damage to a guest property you bet my bottom dollar i would be on the phone with in the next 24 hrs to check on the issue, that's just good customer service. Well we've been a life time customer of your business and even managed a location back in my earlier days now we will not spend another dime at anyone of your locations.

The HQ staff seems nice but underneath of all of that, they are subversive at times. One location stopped offering employee discounts even though the employee handbook states that employee "Benefits" include meal discounts. HR instructed the Store Manager to lift those restrictions. However, another store was also refusing benefits and the District Supervisor (who was aware of the results) failed to take the opportunity to enforce the policy at the other store. HQ doesn't intend to correct these kinds of issues. They only wish to "put out fires" as they occur. Their allegiance is with the shareholders first and then the stakeholders, employees, and customers secondly. They seem to believe that if they react positively every time there is an issue, then they are being satisfactory. However, any prudent person would make an effort to be consistent across the brand with the same vigor that is carried along with product consistency. After a while of working here, it becomes clear that HQ is not working toward improving the quality of their operations because they believe that the job belongs to the subordinate managers and the further subordinate you are, the more that you are told that decisions are coming from above. There is already a system in place from Pizza Hut called, "Life Unboxed" which is purported to bring the skills and talents of employees together and managers are supposed to work with employees to grow their talents and increase profits through hard work and dedication. Instead, some store manager decides that profits are low and discontinus meal discounts as a "solution" while failing to utilize the full potential of the team as defined by "Life Unboxed" as a way to increase bottom-line growth. HQ has no interest in allowing any employees to help grow the business. They want to become more indispensable and controlling and they hold authoritarianism dearly. This, however, is at conflicts of interest with the "Life Unboxed" program, which they aim to administer. HQ has a lot of growth and stunted growth ahead of them. Hopefully somebody will pull the weeds someday. This company can do at least 10% more in sales. I am positive.

This is a food service job so it s not for the faint of heart. But one thing everyone always gets wrong is that they think Hallrich doesn t care. It s not true, they care but the problem is they don t have a great way to show it all the time. Doesn t stop them from trying their hardest though. The job can be a bit rough . well a lot rough but you stick with it long enough and you will be able to make something of yourself in this company.

I believe they pay the drivers a fair(er) wage than the competition. The food business is the most lucrative industry according to Forbes. Because of that, there shouldn't be any reason why Pizza Hut wouldn't be able to afford to pay the average pizza driver the average "Food Industry" salary. Mostly drivers earn a server wage plus tips on the road and less than $10 in the store. The portion the company pays may average $7 or $8 an hour but since this industry is the most lucrative, there is more room for wage growth in pizza than other segments because the tips aren't coming from the company payroll. Other segments are paying north of $12 for the average hourly pay rate. Innercrust is leading the pack by paying out more. This is good for the economy and it is an example of good leadership. They deserve recognition for that. When more wage-earners are earning above the poverty threshold, the tax burden for public assistance programs decreased and therefore the tax burden on the middle-class and other taxpayers decreases. However, when multimillion dollar record-breaking profits enter the hands of the wealthy at the expense of allowing employees to earn poverty-level wages, those adversely affected will seek public assistance and then the middle-class taxpayer will see a rise in taxes in order to balance the budget. It wouldn't make sense to penalize a middle-class person with taxes who may possibly never order their pizza, just so that billionaires and millionaires can make record profits and leave the middle-class to take care of the medicaid, retirement, title 20, section 8, etcetera. When responsible companies, such as Hallrich aka Innercrust step up and be responsible l, as they have been, then the economy, as a whole, will improve. The basic assumption is that is is better for a whole nation to prosper than for one person to prosper and the whole nation fall into insolvency. Thank the heavens that someone out there understands the basic principles of free-enterprise, Capitalism, and economic growth because Domino's is doing the opposite. They want to sell the pizzas cheaply and hoard the profits and let the taxpayer clean up their mess. Just say NO. Order Pizza Hut--every time.

I'm not happy working for Pizza Hut anymore. I transferred from a store in Akron making $10.75 as a driver to a store in Dayton making $5.65. I asked for a raise and the District Manager, here, said No. I should have stayed in Akron. And why is it that the computer makes you pay back all the money you make and leaves you with virtually no tips at the end of the day. That too has made me unhappy.
