My experience with Hall ambulance was awful. The level of empathy towards my mother who was suffering from what we thought to be a heart attack was almost nonexistent. EMT T. Tackett and the lady that accompanied him were awful. They have absolutely no vocation of helping others. They kept making fun of my mother s condition and refused to give her any assistance when she requested a bag, because she felt like she was going to throw up. There were also unnecessary and rude comments made in regards to her inability to understand some of what they were saying, due to her native language being Spanish. Once in the hospital their demeanor changed when my mother told others about their behavior towards her. If my mother really was having a heart attack, her life could ve been in danger due to the immaturity of the EMTs present that day. I think it is necessary for them to understand that their job position is a very important a critical one, as they are dealing with people s lives. I hope no one else has to experience what I did that day. My mother could ve died.
